Delicious pastries

Me and my sister stopped here for some pastries, she had a pain au chocolat and I had an almond pain au chocolat. Both were delicious and flakey, and reasonably priced. I will be back again during my stay in Glasgow!

Pros: Range of pastries, All vegan, Friendly staff

Favourite Vegan Bakery

My partner an I discovered Honeytrap a few months ago and every time we’ve been the staff have been so friendly. The pastries are always amazing, my current favourite is the sundried tomato and ricotta danish or a peanut brownie. I highly recommend anyone who lives in Glasgow or is visiting to give it a try. You won’t regret it🔥

Sooo good

Had the sundried tomato and vegan ricotta danish (SOOO DELICIOUS) can be really hard to get good savoury vegan pastries but this was amazing. Had the cinnamon bun as well, very authentic Swedish style lovely. Would love to try more things from them😄

Great selection of treats

Really good options both savoury and sweet. We got a ‘sausage roll’ as well as 3 cakes and all were lovely. The only downside was there was no coffee. I think they usually offer filter coffee only but no option for even that on the day I visited.

Delicious Vegan Bakery

I love coming to Honeytrap. I would do many things for their cheese twist. It is a thing of beauty. Definitely recommend coming here - a great range of sweet and savoury treats.

Pros: The cheese twists, tasty baked goods

Cons: Not open very often, Sells out quickly, especially the cheese twists :(

Amazing Vegan Pastries

Everything from Honeytrap is incredible. There is such an amazing variety of pastries, and it's always tough to choose what to get. Some favorites are the Earl grey buns and peanut miso cookies. You can't make a wrong choice here though!

My Favourite Bakery

Been coming here for a number of years and they serve the best vegan baked goods.

Both sweet and savoury, everything I've tried here has been amazing.

Can't sit in, takeaway only.

The best vegan bakery I’ve found

We’ve started going every week for pastries and sweet treats.

The pistachio croissants, cinnamon swirls, macarons and miso/peanut butter cookies are highlights.

For me it’s impossible to tell that everything is plant based so the science behind whatever they’re doing is impressive. Especially the croissants and macarons.

Always friendly staff and great location.

Go in the morning because they sell out

Divine baked goods!

When I spotted the queue in front of Honeytrap Bakery, I knew this place was something special - and I was right! I wish I lived nearby so I could subsist solely on the tomato and ricotta parcels and cinnamon buns. A serious must-visit and a local gem.

Pros: The food!

Amazing

We did the online order for pick up ahead of time although there were plenty of choice still available when we arrived early afternoon. What we got:
Raspberry and chocolate semlor bun (incredible- so light, great punchy and more subtle flavours), passionate fruit dome (gorgeous flavour and texture combos), macoroni pie (moorish), basil ricotta parcel with sundried tomatoes (juicy and yet crispy pastry). All so flavourful and amazing! Showcase of how good vegan baked products can be! Amazing!

The best bakery in the world !!

I think about this place everyday and recommend it to all of my friends. It is a must try if you’re in Glasgow (even if you’re not vegan). Every single thing is perfectly thought out and the flavours are amazing. Only sad thing is it sells out most days so definitely get down before closing time!

Pros: Amazing pastries, Original foods

Best patisserie

Easily the best patisserie I've ever been to, and probably ever will. They have a mixture of croissants, buns, tarts, cookies, cakes and savouries which change regularly, always a couple of gluten free options too. Everything I've ever had has been amazing. The tarts are usually my favourite. The flavours change regularly but there will usually be a couple of different components, all perfectly made and complementing each other beautifully, truly something special that you won't find elsewhere. They are a little bit more expensive than cakes elsewhere but with the amount of work, skill and creativity that clearly goes into each item they're an absolute bargain. Each week they post the menu on Instagram, and you can message them and ask them to put things aside for you if you're visiting late in the day. Well worth doing if you want a couple of bits as they will sell out.

Pain au chocolat is crazy good

We went there twice because it was one of the best bakeries (vegan and non vegan) we have ever been to. The cinnamon bun is really good but especially the Pain au chocolate and the Chocolate Almond croissant just totally blew our mind. We are already sad that it was our last visit there - at least for a time.

Pros: Everything vegan, The Croissants don't taste vegan, The Chocolate Almond Croissants

Cons: A bit longer way from the center
