Great place to eat and sit outside

Several vegetarian options that can be made vegan. I had a falafel wrap and my wife had portabello fajitas. Both were great!

Pros: Love to sit outside , Great beer list, Good food

Good choice for all eaters

It's been a while since I've been here but I've taken family or friends who are meat eaters or vegetariansvegans and EVERYONE has been happy. I usually order the Bilbo without mayo. I love their sides. I usually get carrots or black beans for a side-so good.

Pros: Such good food, such good service, Patio allows pets

Great Veggie Options

Since I've changed my lifestyle, I can't stuff myself anymore. Nutrient dense foods really fill me up. Now comes Hobbit Cafe. Wow the sandwiches are huge. Enough for 2 meals. I really go for value, but these meals are so very flavorful too. Amazing. I'll go by every chance I get.

Pros: Nutrition, Good value, TASTE!

Cons: Too far from my house.

Nothing to write to the shire about

Honestly I was expecting more themed lord of the rings stuff. I've seen non-lotr specific spots with more than this place. They have marked vegetarian items on their menu and are able to change those to be vegan. I got the fajitas and they were ok, nothing special, which is kind of remarkable for Texas. The server was nice. It took a while for us to be seated though and the kombucha tap was broken. All in all, I kind of wish my friend and I had picked a different place for my one meal in Houston.

Pros: Nice patio, Looked like a good drink menu

Cons: Not many vegan options , Food is kind of unremarkable, Not as much memorabilia as expected

Good veg options and great sandwiches

Menu has mix of meat and vegetarian, but the real star was the sandwiches! You can make almost all of them vegan and they were so good and huge. The atmosphere was cute but didn’t feel too kitschy.

Pros: Cute atmosphere, Massive sandwiches

Thank you but no

Came here with high expectations. The drink list is extensive and wonderful but the food and service not so much. The fajitas tasted like sweat and the black bean burger had so much black bean it was more like black bean mush. The fries were good though. Our server was a mirage he came by so infrequently. Just skip it unless you want a drink and fries.

Pros: great drink list and extensive vegetarian options

Cons: food is bland and service is horrible
