Great local vegan options

It’s a very cute middle eastern restaurant in a co-op building which is cool. A few tables inside and a patio for outdoor seating.

Smaller menu but also offers teas and various coffee drinks. It’s vegetarian but the menu has the instructions to modify for vegan.

Staff is really friendly as well and the food was delicious!

(Normally don’t give 5 stars except to fully vegan places but this had everything else going for it and can’t wait to go back and try more).

**Edit 8/17**

Changing the review to 4 stars because of the difficulty in actually being able to eat here.

Pros: Falafel in Pita , Friendly staff, Very welcoming space

Cons: Wish it was entirely vegan, Limited free parking

I’ve tried to go back twice since this review but they’ve been closed early (which they already close at 3 regularly) both times unfortunately. I guess if you’re trying to go, go earlier because it’s frustrating to drive, pay to park and walk in only to find they’ve randomly closed early. Likely won’t bother a third time which is a shame because the food is good.

“We ran out of food”

“Closed” at 2:35 on a Friday afternoon in August, with an advertised closing time of 3:00. Maybe call this place before you go…

Pros: Appears nice through the window

Handwritten note today said “Closing at noon” .. on a Saturday. Super inconsistent and hard to want to patronize.

Great veg options

Enjoyed the granola with coconut milk and a speciality latte. A little bit of a loud atmosphere for people sensitive to noise.

Good

Not much of a sitting space or vegan variety, still the place was a good find. Enjoy Middle East inspired foods. Unfortunately, No deserts.

Delicious Middle Eastern flavors

We had brunch here and it was fantastic!we ordered the Chickpea Shakshuka and the Batata bil Harissa (fried potatoes covered in a Harissa sauce jammy eggs). The Shakshuka was amazing. The potatoes were also good, just a little one-note.
My chai with oat milk was also fantastic.
We got the (vegan) maple sesame doughnuts and omg ... Best doughnut I have ever had.
Note, they also welcome you to bring your own travel mug for coffee/tea.
They make their food from scratch and they are rightfully popular, so expect an appropriate wait time 😊

Pros: Flavors, Outside patio

Great brunch!

Tried the Suhoor and an Oat Damascus rose latte, both were fantastic. Tons of vegan baked goods - tried the sesame maple doughnut! Delicious. Great spot, nice staff!

Pros: Vegan options, Bright space / welcoming , Flavourful

Cons: Not a ton of strictly vegan menu items

Really good!

I would highly recommend the coconut curry fried rice. It was super delicious! They were out of pita and hummus when I went, but I hope to try that soon as well.

Great spot for lunch!

The coconut curry fried rice (vegan) is my new favorite thing, it’s truly delicious! They also have tasty hummus, dairy free lattes, and vegan donuts. Do yourself a favor and stop in for a bite to eat.

Does not disappoint! Great vegan food, wonderful drinks, lovely atmosphere, eco conscious/low waste. Highly recommend the coconut curry fried rice and the homemade chai.
