Such a pleasant surprise - Edit
Finding good vegan / vegetarian options can be quite a struggle in the Austrian countryside so I was pleasantly surprised by this Heurigen. Almost everything on the menu can be ordered in veggie/vegan. We had spinach patties with mountain cheese, a big vegan vegetable pan (the best I've ever had, perfect mixtures of spices) with garlic bread and a salad. For dessert, we went for the apple strudle served with ice cream. Another option would have been the Schomlauer Nockerl (a type of sweet dumpling).
