Vegan respite in a mostly rural, meat-centric area

They offer vegan deli options during the week, like nachos with pimento cheese, hot dogs, and tortilla soup. Sometimes they have dairy-free frozen yogurt options as well.

Update: I’m sad to say since losing their awesome longtime manager, Anne, the food has gone downhill. I’m downgrading my review to three stars. I hope they are able to get it back together soon!

Latest update (April 2023): I’m happy to report they have a new person upfront, Dana, who is bringing the store back to life. And they have a new deli worker M-Th, 12:00-3:00! The food quality is back up! Give them a try. :)

Pros: They offer vegan deli items, Local produce offered once a week

Cons: Stock fluctuates a lot, very unreliable, Grocery items are overpriced
