Good burgers - Edit
I had the Feuermeister, which has a patty based on wheat. It wasn’t as tasty as the veggie patty on the burger I had the last time. Regardless the burger was okay and the fries were great as always. The variety of vegan options is also nice.

Very Vegan friendly, not a single option but a few kinds u can choose from. I took the crispy one. There are bottles of sauce on the table, all vegan!

Read moreThe service was very slow although it was almost empty. There were several burgers to choose from. I had a lunch menu (17,90€) with the Zeitgeist burger, Golden Fries and a drink. It all tasted really well. Hans Im Glück is always a safe choice for burgers.

Vegane Auswahl ist super, bei 7 veganen Burgern ist für wirklich jeden was dabei und jeder vegane Burger den ich je probiert hab war lecker. Nichtvegane Begleitung war auch sehr überzeugt vom veganen Burger Zeitgeist. Preise sind nur leider über die letzten Jahre sehr stark gestiegen.

Plenty of vegan options, which are clearly marked in the menu. Every category - burgers, starters, side dishes etc has some vegan options. Good atmosphere, very crowded, but the sitting was comfortable. The food is great! The service was quick and friendly.

Vegane Optionen bei Hans im Glück sind immer lecker, hatte dieses Mal den 'Sonnengruß', zwar scharf aber noch so, dass ich weiterhin schmecken konnte. Essenstechnisch erwartenswert super.
Read moreLeider war es durch die offene Tür eher kühl im Innenraum, sodass wir über die im Menü inbegriffenen Heißgetränke sehr froh waren.
Da mittags auch sehr viel los war, mussten wir lange warten, bis unsere Bestellung aufgenommen wurde und wir am Ende zahlen konnten.
Pros: Vegane Optionen super gekennzeichnet, Meist Platz ohne Reservierung

It might not be obvious to non-regular users, but Happy Cow policy is that one can't give 5 stars to a place unless it is fully vegan or vegetarian (not sure this is a good idea, but it is what it is). Anyhow, the Hans im Glueck / Sonnenstrasse vegan menu deserves 5 stars for sure.
Read moreThey are now up to seven vegan and seven vegetarian burgers. Had the lunch menu with the 'Naturbursche' hamburger, outstanding deal. The cole slaw has a hemp dressing and is vegan too, highly recommended. The menu comes with a cold beverage (pro-tip #1: for 1 Euro more you can get the large beer) and a warm beverage (pro-tip #2: if you like espresso, the menu covers the doppio too).
The menu does not cover dessert and you have to shell out some extra $s if you want some sweets, but boy am I glad that I did. Had the 'Lausbub', vegan cookie dough on berry puree. It is *very* rich and can probably be shared by two people (but I loved it and was glad that I didn't have to share :-)
Their outdoor patio is open, and the very large umbrella kept me dry during a major downpour. The waiter used one tray to carry the food and drinks, and a second one to cover his head from the rain. Heroic effort!
I am not a big fan of chains, but Hans im Glueck / Sonnenstrasse I very much recommend.

Would give 5 stars if I could. The atmosphere was great with friendly staff. I had the nuerenburger I think. Was soo yum, honestly tasted like a burger. Chips were nice and salty. We ordered the pound of chips between 2 of us. Would have been big enough for 3/4 people

This burger place has 6 different vegan burgers and 6 vegetarian options - amazing for a non-veg restaurant! The burgers are extremely tasty and I can only recommend them. Big thumbs up from here - also most of their dressings are vegan so you have options for the fries!
Read moreHowever - the service was just awful. The waitress was extremely impatient and there was always a problem. Suddenly she didn’t have enough coins to give us our change so she decided to solve it by taking a tip for herself instead of giving us back enough change - not OK. Also the menu is really confusing.
I would come back but I wish the service was better.
Pros: Plenty of vegan options, Very tasty food, Both outdoor and indoor serving
Cons: Terrible service, Confusing menu, Loud club music inside
