Great service, tasty food

At the time I was there the restaurant was nearly empty. Luckily I hadn't had anything to do with the food, wich is excellent. Service is also very good.

Pros: fresh, tasty food, good prices

Cons: not very cosy

Tasty food and good service

Popped in here for a quick lunch between sightseeing. It's very close to Rathaus so great location. Plenty of tofu dishes - the summer rolls were gorgeous - and good portion sizes. They also serve meat and fish so good if you're out and about with non-vegans. Staff were very friendly.

Perfect for family and friends

HanoiDeli is the perfect restaurant if you want to go out for dinner with mixed family/friends of herbi- and omnivores.
The staff is super friendly and will answer all your questions whether a dish can be made vegan. The place is nice and although the kitchen is near the seating it doesn't smell. The prices are often lower than those of a delivery service but the food is 1000 times better! Only con is that the largest table is only suitable for up to six people (book in advance).
Overall a very nice vietnamese restaurant which i will definitely visit again.

Pros: Extremely delicious food, Low prices, Nice staff

Cons: Largest table is only for six people

Great option in the city centre

There are lots and lots of veggie restaurants in Hamburg, but it was a bit hard to find one in the very centre of the city, close to the touristic highlights, that was open for lunch on weekends. I ended up at HanoiDeli and instantly liked it, although unfortunately it's not a vegetarian restaurant. Service was very friendly and the interior was spacious, modern and bright.
Almost all main dishes can be ordered in a vegan version, mostly with tofu. Unfortunately, the vegetarian or vegan options are not marked, though. I decided for a dish presented in the separate weekly menu, consisting of lemongrass, vegetables, tofu and mushrooms, served with rice.
I also had a tea made of fresh ginger and licorice roots, which was perfect against my cold.
There are three desserts which are all vegan and I opted for the sesame balls with a paste of nuts and red beans, and they tasted delicious, just like the main dish. Everything tasted really fresh and well balanced.

Pros: Great location , Tasty food, Friendly service

Cons: Serves meat
