Meh

After I read millions of 5 starts reviews I expected something better.
If this is really “the best burger” you ever had - poor vegans of France, I’m so sorry for you.
Even though I visited this place being hungry the burger just wasn’t tasty. Sauces are ok, buns as well, but patty tastes like cabbage. Such a boring burger. Just one big meeeeh.
Although there’s the 2nd floor the place is small and I just couldn’t feel comfortable and enjoy the meal.
Don’t recommend to visit, there’re better burgers in Paris.
3 stars only cause I prefer to support vegan initiative.

Pros: 100% vegan

Cons: Patty tastes like simple vegetables , Not cozy at all

You HAVE to go to Hank to enjoy their delicious menu! Make sure to get there a bit early so you can enjoy the desserts before they run out!! The burgers are tasty and the decor is second to none.

Best vegan burger

This place is exceptional, and I think everyone knows it (you’re lucky to get a seat in the crowded upstairs during mealtimes)

Nice for what it is!!

First vegan meal in Paris @hankrestaurant. Very highly rated on various websites and was relatively good. Guess we're pretty spoiled in New York. Gave it 4 stars but wouldn't give it more than 3 if it was in New York. Had a vegan burger with smoked BBQ sauce and peppers along with nicely crunchy fries. Pretty good for a quick bite but definitely not a fancy sitdown meal. You order as you walk in and then sit upstairs which is comfy but definitely tight. As you almost squeeze into your spot they call your name over the loud speaker and you traipse back downstairs to get your food. Glad we went because it was so highly rated on @happycow but will try the other option Paris has to offer.

Yummy

Delicious burgers with a large choice. Nice restaurant even if a little small, but what can we do it's Paris. I recommend going there trust me you're rather spend your money there than Mc donals for it's much more delicious and of better quality and you can definitely stuff your face easily 😂

Pros: Large choice, Delicious

Great Place to go

Paris is a really nice city and I really enjoying every Trip to this city and make sure to stop by Hank Vegan Burgers while I am around.
The Staff is really nice and gives you good recommendations.
They have a good concept and the Burgers have funny names.
Upstairs you find a good place to sit and you can charge your Mobile Phone while you are eating.
I even brought someone who never ate a vegan Burger before and he said it is very delicious.

Pros: Nice Staff, Comfortable Place, Really good Location

Perfection

Update! Im obsessed with the new beyond meat burger, although scarily close to the real thing but is 100% vegan 💚

As I new vegan it was great to be in Paris and enjoy a great vegan burger. It was a Tuesday night and the place was busy, but with a warm atmosphere. The service was quick and helpful. I chose the vegan burger with alfa sprouts, chunky fries with incredible vegan mayo and coleslaw. Everything was super great. I also tried a chocolate cookie and organic cola. I will def come back, even my veggie (non vegan) boyfriend loved the vegan cheese in the burger and the vegan mayo. Only sad thing was I wished I bought another cookie - it was so good! 10 out of 10 for a quick vegan meal and not too expensive. PS went back today and they now do melted cheese on fries.... heaven!

Very Good!

excellent and tasty food even if some guys who take the orders are not careful and it happened to receive my order with my sandwich with meat, even if I specified that I wanted a vegetarian, apart from that, all excellent.

Pros: tasty food, fast orders

Cons: some employees are not very careful

First time Beyond Meat Burger

Had a delicious seasonal special burger with caramelised onions and pepper sauce. Harmonised very well with the Beyond Meat Patty. My girlfriend and I were very pleased.
Cheesy fries tasted amazing but were very filling.

Loved It!

What a great place! Delicious food and friendly staff. We got our burgers to go on a very cold night, and when we got back to our apartment after a 7 minute walk, everything was still hot—they wrap the burgers really well. My 9 year old daughter said she was sad when she finished her meal! So yummy.

Pros: Delicious burgers, Delicious fries, Great choice of organic drinks

Delicious burgers

Great burgers, and they are quite creative with their options. Not too expensive, and they offer a nice choice of drinks and side dishes. The staff is very friendly, and last time I came there it was in the evening and shortly before closing time, but they even gave us a bag of extra potato wedges that they had leftover!

Pros: great food , not too expensive, friendly staff

Cons: small seating area, can be quite loud in the room, not very comfortable seats & tables

Hank is a dream come true!

I was little but nervous about eating out in Paris, because I did not think there would be many vegan options. I was very wrong! Paris has many delicious vegan places, and Hank Burger is at the top of my list. I highly recommend checking this place out, it is def worth it! I got the cheese fries, and then I kept coming back for more! They also have many deserts to choose from, along with vegan wine and beer. The burgers are great, and really fill you up.

Pros: All vegan!!!

delicious and affordable

i have been to their shop in lyon previously and came back here. I can say, it was exactly the same. delicious food, friendly service and a cozy seating area. bonus for the clean toilet.
There aren't that many choices but that isn't necessarily negative. Every burger I have tried so far was good.

Pros: spacious but cozy seating area, consistently good menu, clean toilet

Cons: it's a chain

Pretty darn tasty vegan burger!

The concept of the restaurant is pretty simple. All burgers have the same type of bun (especially made for the restaurant) and organic patty (made of tofu, mushrooms, rice, cereals and spices). You get to choose the toppings and sauces. There is in total a choice of four different styles of burgers.

I ordered the “La Catcheuse” style burger with homemade mustard and sprouted alfalfa. As I love mustard but am a bit picky when it comes to how sweet or spicy it tastes, I kindly asked them to not put tomuch of it. I felt immediately happy with my choice after the first bite! It was just to die for. The patty was very rich in flavour and not greasy at all. Its texture was also on point. I paired the burger with thick cut oven-baked perfectly seasoned potato edges. My boyfriend had actually to finish them for me because the burger really filled me up. 👌🏼 He ordered the "The Tata Monique" on a tomato and basil sauce with minced black olives and, as a meat-eater, he was very pleased with the taste of it. It is also worth mentioning that the restaurant has three different dips available (and for free): ketchup, veganaise and mustard.

Staff were helpful and walked us through the whole concept of the restaurant. They spoke English, which made ordering the food very easy. The service was quick and efficient.
We both chose went for the Le Petit menu (1 burger, 1 side and 1 beverage) and it was more than enough. If you think that you might fancy something sweet (i.e. a cookie, carrot cake or "the dessert of the day") , then you can go for the Le Grand menu. The price of each burger is 8,50 euros but, in my opinion, the menu prices are quite affordable.
I loved the loft-style arrangement and bustling interior atmosphere of the restaurant. Though, be warned that since it has a small seating area, it can get easily packed. We got to the restaurant at around noon on a Friday and there was plenty of space to sit. When we finished eating and left the place, there was a long queue at the door so I guess that we were just lucky to enter early enough and at a not crowded period.
Just to wrap up, this burger place really lived up to the hype. So, whether you are a non-meat eater fan of burgers or not, if you find yourself in Paris, please fit Hank Burger into your itinerary. You will not regret trying one of the great creations that Hank produces!

Pros: Not greasy, Good portion size

Cons: Small seating area
