Hanami are accommodating to vegans and vegetarians listing their own vegan/veg menu which has a small but decent range of dishes. I had the vegan option tempura vege rice bowl which was very enjoyable. Vegan spring rolls were very nice too. They also have pre made sushi in window out front if you’re in need of a quick fresh bite.

Nice restaurant with separate vegan menu options - small menu but some good stuff. Gyoza, tempura Etc. Bit fried food heavy.

Delicious Japanese Gem - Edit
Stumbled across this place walking along Coolum beach. Happened to see it has a separate vegan section with a bunch of clearly marked vegan takeaway. Ended up getting the tempura sushi, gyōza and spring rolls which were delicious. The owner is also knowledgebale and very sweet, she helped us figure out what is vegan and gave us an end of night discount! Would highly recommend.
