Bland Burrito, Vibrant Environment - Edit
My burrito paled in comparison to the vegan burritos that I'm used to eating in San Diego (right above the border with Mexico). It was difficult to enjoy my burrito as it was tightly wrapped in aluminum foil and cut in half. I understand it's visually appealing to see a dissection of a burrito, but it's much easier to enjoy it in its entirety. I was really disappointed with my dining experience.
The group of people I was with were not very fond of the owner and mentioned that he would rarely leave customers alone to enjoy their food. He seemed like a nice guy, but we avoided starting a conversation in fear of it never ending.
The interior design was very nice.
Cons: Boring Flavors, Clingy Owner

Best Place I've found in Seoul - Edit
I was greeted by the owner as soon as I entered the place. He has worked with some Indian people before and he immediately realized I'm looking for vegetarian food. It was apparent to me this was gonna be good. He is American and just like most Americans I've met, very friendly. I had to mention Aaron (the owner), he sat down with me for 4-5 minutes while I was eating. Its not often you see that.
I ordered the vegetarian tacos (actually Aaron himself ordered it for me) and they were amazing. It was the soft shell, with veggies, salsa.. just perfect. Price also reasonable, atmosphere is good. You can always find some foreigners here and usually everyone's up for a friendly chat.

Great place with great owner - Edit
I visited this place once. The owner showed up and he was very kind and helpful. The staff not so much, sadly. As a vegan I ordered there burrito and said no cheese, no dairy and one lady gave me the death stares, and was like no cheese??? When the owner showed up he told them again that I said no cheese or dairy products. I also ordered the taco taquitos. they were great. Too bad the unfriendly staff might scare some folks off though.
Pros: Great vegan options, Friendly owner, Good prices
Cons: Cold and unfriendly staff

5 stars food and service for sure - Edit
I found this place by accident and am so happy that I did. The owner of this place is so friendly and accommodating, he personally came to the table to give me my order. Needless to say, food was the bomb - I got the veggie burrito and guac on the side, 10/10 would recommend. Made an account just to write a review. Shout out to the owner ~ ;)

5 stars! 4 because the app won't allow it. - Edit
This restaurant is an absolute gem. I've been twice already and just discovered it yesterday. I've had the vegetable tacos and tofu burrito. Both were delicious! I also had a side of guacamole! Perfection! And the owner and staff are super friendly. Easy to get to. Sangsu station exit 1.

Deserves 5 Stars - Edit
The restaurant deserves 5 stars for sure. The staff speaks English and the owner, Aaron, is the coolest owner I've met in Seoul. He left friends and I info about more places in Seoul. Very accommodating to vegans as well. And obviously the food was delicious. Made an account just to leave a review. Definitely stop in!

Awesome tofu and veggie tacos - Edit
If I could give this place 5 stars I would. Delicious veg options in a city where vegetarian food can be hard to come by. I had both the tofu and the veggie tacos and they were possibly the best mexican veg food I've had ever. The filling is tasty and fresh but what really makes them special is the in-house tortillas. Owner Eric is also a genuinely nice and helpful dude who cares about his customers. If you're in seoul check this place out!

best tofu i have ever had - Edit
The place has a cool vibe, sort of California café style? You can see the sign easily from the metro exit. The owner was walking around, very involved and explaining the menu. You order and pay at the counter and serve yourself water which I thought was a good system. I wanted a burrito and there was a vege one and a tofu one. Had the tofu and it was really good. The tofu was the best I have ever had in my 27 years. Chewy but not hard or meat like. It also had tomatoey rice and onions. Not so many vegetables. There’s other options too for vegetarians. The owner said the tacos are popular because they make the shells on site. Bit on the pricey side (1000) but was a big portion. When I was there, there were only foreigners eating, the owner seemed to remember regulars. If I lived in seoul I’d be back for sure.
NB - i would give it 5 stars but happy cow system doesn't allow it as it's not fully veg :)
Pros: amazing tofu, cool vibe, very good english
Cons: bit pricey

Five stars if it was vegetarian.. - Edit
The food here is absolutely delicious. I imagine many travelers to South Korea are looking for something a little more Korean in their dining experiences, but if not, this is your place. After living in Japan for so long, my friend (omnivore) and I (vegan) are always wishing for Mexican food so we jumped at the opportunity here in Seoul and were so content we came back for more!
The staff speaks enough English that ordering something vegan is no problem (vegetarian or tofu options minus cheese and sour cream). The owner was there on our first visit and as an American from Portland/New York he understands vegan diets and the need for such options.
On my first visit my tacos came out with cheese and sour cream. The owner had a suspicion that it might happen since they don't get vegans in often, but he saw it before I did and immediately had vegan ones made snd as an apology brought an extra tofu one for me and meat one for my friend. He also talked with us quite a bit and it was a great experience.
They offer sides of delicious, fresh-tasting guacamole and various lime and lemonades.

Best Mexican in Korea - Edit
It's not an exaggeration. Gusto Taco offers the best-tasting food of the genre of any place in Korea. It's not even close. The owner, an American, understands and appreciates the needs of veg customers and provides quality options as opposed to just substituting ingredients. The tofu tacos and burritos are shockingly full-flavoured, full-bodied, and rich. It's hard to limit myself to just one.
This place is perfect for meeting with non-veg people. Everyone I've ever taken there has been blown away. It's also great for veg people as one of a precious few reliable and delicious dining destinations in Korea.
Note: for vegans, just mention "no cheese, no sour cream" and they'll set you up. The staff speaks English.
Pros: Delicious, Unique, Vegan Choices
