What a total dump

Drove thirty minutes to get to the restaurant after calling and confirming that they were open. Arrived and was rudely kicked out after they tell me they are closed. I explained that I called to confirm and the manager yelled that they made a mistake and asked me to leave. Place was a dump and absolutely filthy. Workers were rude. Consider yourself lucky if you’ve never had to eat there.

Cons: Say they are open when they aren’t, Rude, Filthy

I want to give it zero stars

We went on a monday. We read the reviews so we were excited. It was a line of people which was good for us cause it gave us time to read the menu and look at the place to choose what we wanted. We got tacos and Brunch wrap and menudo. Its was about 40 plus dollars.
Our tacos were soggy and flavor less. Its missing something. His wrap was good. But that menudo was red sauce and chick pea (I think) but where was the freaking flavor. Their food is so bland. I'm upset we paid that much money and waited that long just to not even eat the food. It was so bland we still had to go to Doomies next mex.

Pros: Not much seasoning

Cons: Costly, bland, a little wait.

3 times in 2 weeks!

The food and service are so good here that I'm writing this review as I'm visiting for the third time in two weeks. It doesn't take long for the food to be made, and everyone who works here has always served me with a smile. The food itself is absolutely delicious, and I would recommend it to anybody.

Vegans Welcomed!

So I’ve only been here a twice and both times it was to pick up food for my wife. She had a salad with seasoned and grilled mushrooms and she claims it was the best mushroom salad ever! I did try their “aguas frescas” flavored water; had the pineapple cucumber with spicy seasoning added. I can’t wait to try their vegan ceviche, made with cauliflower! As soon as I have a pic I’ll update this review.

Good food/poor service and amount.

Food was good, portions were not. Sandwich didn’t have much filling and the “guacamole” is $1.50 for a side and it is tiny. Will attach photos.

Pros: Food is okay.

Cons: See photo.

$1.50 for this? Second time coming here, first time with this experience. Won’t be back. at Guacamaya Oasis in Downey

Tortas and tacos

The vegan torta is fire. The mushroom ‘carnitas’ are good. I had the tacostada with soyrizo and that was bomb too !

Food is good.Too expensive for what you get. Same ingredients base for all meals

Nice place. Customer service varies. Food doesn’t come out at the same time for groups. Expensive and food doesn’t quite justify the price.

Pros: Decent vegan pozole

Cons: Expensive , Same ingredients assembled differently *soyrizo

Delicious plant-based options

This place is basically a haven for me because there are so few vegan restauraunt options near me.

I tried the ultimate vegan nachos with the minty pineapple lemonade .and both were very delicious. I will be back to this restaurant often because my job is only a mile away from it!

Pros: Delicious vegan options, Generous servings

Cons: Can get pricey

Delicious!

I have tried the torta, tostacos, crunchy wrap, nachos, pozole, cauliflower ceviche and the horchata and everything is delicious. The Nachos, tostaco and crunchy wrap taste pretty similar. They share the same ingredients/flavors. I really liked the soy chorizo torta and the crunchy wrap. The pozole was ok. The nachos are fun to share but order some extra cheese😄I'm definitely going to keep coming!

Love this place

This place is kind of hidden. It's in the corner of Imperial Hwy. and Lakewood. My favorite is their trio torta. But I also like their cauliflower ceviche. Their waters are fresh and really good. They carry vegan horchata. Any time I crave vegan comfort food this is where I go

Pros: Tasty, Good customer service , Lots of options

Cons: Horchata is pricey, Kind of far

Tastey find!

Tried the vegan ceviche which was good but a little disappointed in the lack of presentation along with the small cauliflower chunks, could use a couple more vegetables or something else. They gave hot vegan options as well that looked amazing and would love to try at some point. LOVED the different types of drinks, vegan Hortcha is FANTASTIC! I will be back.

Pros: Tons of vegan options , Great for meat eaters too
