Nice snack - Edit
I tried the vegan pork, the black sesame and the white bean buns. I would recommend the black sesame, the pork one was quite dry and nothing special I thought. 3 buns for 56 Baht.

Popular steamed buns spot - Edit
Super popular spot in the heart of trendy Song Wat area of Bangkok’s Chinatown. I’ve been several times on weekends and there’s always a long line of customers waiting to order. This is a bakery / kitchen for takeout only, no seating. They only have 5-6 Vegan options and those tend to run out quickly, so come early, they are usually out in early afternoon. Flavor wise, they are very good, I definitely understand the popularity. There’s one savory option which is like a plant based barbecue pork, and then a few sweet bean options. Prices are very reasonable - 10-20 Baht per piece.

Amazing buns - Edit
We wanted to eat a snack before dinner and this was close by.
Read moreI wasn't really up for some bao buns, but boy what was I wrong.
These buns are amazing, crunchy on the outside and soft inside with a delicious filling.
Really worth the stop for a quick bite.
These are not your typical bao buns (or bapao how we call them in dutch), bit much better.
Pros: Delicious buns, Clearly labeled vegan bun, More vegan buns

Definitely worth a visit - Edit
5 buns for only 85 Baht and all three varieties tasted great. We liked the beans and white sesame best.

Perfect portable snack - Edit
I got the plant based pork bun and unfortunately it was cold even after requesting that it be hot. I think they would have been much better hot. Taro bun was very good though.

We got the vegan pork ones and thes were nice and very meaty. A saice wouldn't hurt. Salty, not like elsewhere sweet, which was nice.

Such a Great Place - Edit
Amazing! Love that there are clearly marked options. They say vegetarian, but they’re vegan. I had the black sesame and pork bao. Black sesame was only 17thb and 22 for the vegan pork. Owner is friendly. Steamed to perfection. Only takeout, but two small wooden chairs infront so you can eat while they’re hot!
Read moreLoved both, but sesame is my fav.
Pork could have more salt or any dipping sauce (but I always use salt!). Will come back for sure
Great value

very delicious Bao Buns, 5 vegan options available - Edit
We tried all the vegan options from this stand. We had a plain Bao Bun (Mantou), Black Sesame, White Bean & White Sesame, Taro and vegan Pork. They were all labeled as vegetarian. Our favorites were the vegan pork and the black sesame buns. Unfortunately, all the vegan options were only available in the smaller size. For the 5 Buns we paid 82 Baht.

Cons: size of the vegan buns (only small)
