The menu changes seasonally and in addition to the a la carte menu, there is also always a dish of the day and a daily changing lunch deal (the website shows what's on offer). Choices could include carrot lox with horseradish, jackfruit fritters with pumpkin, and tagliatelle in madeira-miso-cashew cream. Companion animal friendly. Open Tue-Fri 11:30-14:30, 17:00-21:00, Sat 12:00-21:00. Closed Sun & Mon.

Einfach lecker! Service fantastisch ❤️ - Edit
Die grüne Kombüse ist ein nettes kleines Restaurant mit ganz viel Charm. Aufgrund von vielen Besuchern, nahmen wir an der Theke platz, aber das tat der Sache keinen Abbruch. Die Bedienung waren super freundlich, wir hatten wenig Zeit und daher vorher angerufen, ob das mit dem Essen klappt. Daraufhin kam der Vorschlag, dass wir uns das Essen schon aussuchen können und zu unserer gewünschten Zeit ist es dann schon fertig. Gesagt, getan, wir waren kurz nach 18:20 Uhr da und hatten 18:30 Uhr unser Essen. Einfach super! Und dazu kommt, alles war einfach nur lecker. Ausgefallene Gerichte, die alle in sich total schlüssig und ausgewogen waren. Wir kommen wieder und ich kann jedem Besucher Rostocks dringend einen Abend hier empfehlen😄

Ich war ein paar Mal in der Grünen Kombüse essen. Mir hat immer geschmeckt, was ich gegessen habe, auch wenn ich gar nicht so der Fan davon bin aus großartigen einfachen Zutaten zu ausgefallenen Kompositionen zu kreieren. Ich mochte die Menschen die dort arbeiten immer und fand die Preise okay. Leider haben wir jedesmal laaange auf unser Essen gewartet

We came here while visiting Rostock and really enjoyed our meal. We had the creamy nutballs which were absolutely amazing as well as several mains and a desert. The portions are big, and everything on the plate has a distinct but complementary flavor and texture. The service was excellent as was the ambiance.

We had a great dinner and were all happy with our meals. A particularly fun feature is that they have all elements of the main dishes listed separately at the end of the menu (including prices) so you can exchange or put together your own plate as you wish. Slightly more on the pricier end but the quality and flexibility of the menu make up for that.

The food is tasty, reasonably priced, and the portions are generous—just what I needed after a long trip. The owners are friendly and thoughtful, even bringing fresh water for my dog, which I really appreciated. …das Essen ist aus meiner Sicht eher Richtung veganer „Hausmannskost“. Das Essen war von der Qualität und dem Geschmack mega. Lediglich das Dessert schwächelte ein wenig. Der Käsekuchen war in einer kleinen Auflaufform und sehr dünn und trocken. Das Highlight war der Gulascheintopf als Vorspeise. Als Hauptgericht hatten wir Zwiebelfleisch und Pasta. Beides absolut zu empfehlen. Nur das Ambiente ist ein wenig Oldschool. Lobenswert ist auch eine feine Auswahl an alkoholfreien Weinen und Longdrinks.

Big yummy portions - Edit
We had dinner at Gruene Kombuese and had a great time. The restaurant is in the middle of the city, behind the town hall, in a quiet street. They have outdoor tables and you can hear the seagulls calling from the city port nearby.

Das Essen war super lecker und sah auch richtig gut aus. Das Personal schien aber umorganisiert und chaotisch. Bestellungen sollten gleich zu Beginn aufgenommen werden, Getränke erwartet man zeitnah nach Bestellung, Geschirr sollte ebenfalls gleich abgeräumt werden, wenn man sowieso am Tisch ist und fast 45 Minuten auf ein Essen zu warten, erscheint mir auch zu lang.
