Serves meat, vegan options available. Yoga studio and coffee shop with a largely vegetarian menu including vegan dishes which are specified on the menu. Mid-week menu includes vegan items such as overnight oats, granola, porridge, vegan toast, hummus & grain bowl, a soup, a dahl and tofu scramble. Weekend menu includes vegan items such as granola, tofu scramble, vegan toast, and Middle Eastern mezze. Also has speciality coffee with oat milk as well as vegan hot chocolate. Open Mon-Fri 08:00-16:00, Sat-Sun 10:00-16:00. Closed bank holidays.

Yeah description says it all. Tofu sandwich was unreal, the damage it did to the wallet was not ideal. Must be said though, as for all businesses in this part of town, they can't be blamed for the prices. Can't be easy to stay afloat in the area. Anyway if you're up this end of the city and need a good vegan protein hit, this is a pretty great spot.

We ate here and enjoyed the vibe in there , and had the smoked tofu Sammies. They were good, if a little salty, but they were very nicely presented.

Truly lovely food and something different to a full breakfast. Ordered Sriracha Tofu Scramble and the Tofu Sambo - both delicious! Staff were lovely and friendly too 😀😀 So good we came back two days running. Photo is of the vegan toastie (mushroom and tofu ricotta)

Read moretoastie. They also had another tofu sambo, dahl type bowl and scrambled tofu on the menu for vegans. They had lots of vegan options for treats including a brownie, lemon drizzle, cookie, blueberry crossaint and a Bakewell tart. I had the lemon drizzle and the cookie and wasn’t the biggest fan of either. The cookie was gluten free and didn’t taste of much and the lemon drizzle was just a bit weird but had lovely icing.
Service was good and it was nice and busy with a good atmosphere too :)))
Pros: Good vegan choice , 1000/10 vegan ricotta toastie
Cons: Lil pricey but not too bad (€9.5 for a toastie), Treats weren’t the best

Read moreGroundstate Coffee is a very nice coffee shop, with specialty coffee and lots of vegan options. This particular dish, which was filling, was some kind of sandwich with smoked tofu ft. Paprika, and other things that I don't know what they were 🤣 but together they had a unique flavor.

I've only ever popped in for a coffee and a slice of vegan cheesecakey thing but my mind was blown. I've been on a mission to get back there and try it again since as I think it might be the best slice of vegan-ness I've ever eaten.
