Gröna Boden is vegetarian and vegan health food store with an eclectic mix of fresh local organic produce, Swedish favorites, and Japanese imports. Sells tofu, seaweed, and vegan substitutes. Also has eco-friendly cleaning products and other unusual products. Behind the counter is a large collection of medicines and beauty products which are all not tested on animals. Connected with the Life franchise of health stores (lifebutiken.se) but unlike any other Life store you may have visited-it is not typical for Life stores to sell food, for instance. Open Mon-Fri 9:30am-6:00pm, Sat 9:30am-2:30pm.

Good variation of product - high prices - Edit
If you need probiotics this place is great! If you need to buy food - don't! Prices are way to high and you can find cheeper eco stuff elsewhere , i.e. in Fram! Otherwise the stuff is friendly and to some extend knowledgeable and can help you with good advice!

Easy to get to, right outside Vasaplatsen tram/bus stop. Good variety of vegan items, many of which I couldn't find anywhere else in Gothenburg. Chorizos. julskinka and supermelting mozarella. Friendly staff.
Not much space, so be careful walking around, and patient when people are looking at stuff and you can't get past.
Pros: Variety of chilled food
Cons: a bit cramped
