Good place - Edit

Big open kitchen with plenty of options. Food was decent but something made my wife and I feel a little sick after. They were also out of 3 of the items we wanted. Taste was good though and the vegetables tasted fresh.

Pros: Plenty of options, Fresh, Good taste

Cons: Price, they were out of multiple menu items

Personal Favorite - Edit

ALL VEGAN. They have AMAZING wraps. My favorites are the local (veges w/chick'n and sauce) and the black bean burger wrap. I always get the Protein Punch smoothie and chocolate chip cookies on the side.

Pros: Everything's vegan.

Cons: A bit pricy but quality compensates.

Vegan Option - Edit

I got the Local wrap which was stuffed with raw veggies and vegan chicken and then grilled. The day I went they were out of a few dressings and I got one that was not my favorite. This was unfortunate because the only flavor from the wrap came from the dressing.

Chips and salsa on the side were excellent and so was the donut from Donut Alliance. The smoothies looked delicious and I will probably go back for a drink next time.

nice - Edit

Pleasantly surprised. Tasty food and fresh made juices. Very small interior but cozy. This is a great spot for lunch if you work in the area. I had a wrap and took some salad home for later. There's a large selection of juices, so I will have to return to try one of them.

Pros: tasty food, metered street parking

Cons: small interior

Wish I could come every day! - Edit

Everything here is amazing. I recommend the Blueberry pie smoothie. It can get pricy (makes sense - all fresh produce!) or I would come every day. Bring your own cup and help out the environment! The staff and owner are all super nice. Love this place

Pros: all vegan!, fresh and healthy

Cons: expensive , NOT open Sunday's

Excellent Bevs - Edit

I recommend the PB&J smoothie or the appletini juice. V friendly staff. convenient location w street parking. Several chairs for eat-in. V fresh. Besides the kale salads, few food items w/o soy or gluten.

Pros: Delicious, All vegan

Cons: Slow service, Expensive, Not open Sunday

Used to be Great... Skimp on expensive ingredients - Edit

Grindhouse used to be one of my favorite places in Baltimore and I was constantly recommending it to other vegans. I live about 4 blocks away and would often stop in for a "fish" wrap and some garlic kale. Their juices are pretty good, but since they have the same Omega I have at home, I didn't normally pay the mark up.
I don't know what happened to them, but the quality of their food has gone down drastically. Around the time they moved to their new location (2 or so store fronts over) I tried their new hot bar: the greens were okay but over salty, BUT the mac and cheese was so terrible it was gag worthy. Noodles coated in oil with clumps of unmelted daiya cheese through out - ew.
At that point I thought, well I'll stick to their wraps. The "fish" wrap is not even passable anymore. First, they stopped carrying tartar sauce (which was Follow Your Heart.) Then I started to order it and it would have maybe one "fish patty" spread throughout the whole wrap when there used to be 3 or 4. Now they've changed to Gardien fish, and skimp even worse.
I've given them so many second chances, but I order a wrap now and it is about 70% lettuce, 23% onion/tomato/whatever else and 5% "fish" and 2% sauce (not tartar.)
Over the past two years or so I've seen them skimp on any expensive ingredients, so I'm constantly disappointed in the food - I can make better in 2 minutes on my own. I keep going back hoping it will change as my sole neighborhood vegan place, but it seems to keep getting worse. The owner is really nice, but I hope she gets it together- it is always empty when I'm in. Their garlic kale remains delicious.

Didn't get any juices but did get the citrus ribs platter with garlic mashed potatoes and it was exactly what I wanted to eat. Extremely flavorful and great food at a great price. Would recommend.

Very good place - Edit

This place is really cool. Cheap meals and a lot of options for the day. The mac and cheese could have a little more flavor though. Give it a chance.

Good place - Edit

Food: 8. I had "the local", a wrap with mock chicken and veggies. I really liked the mock chicken, and I loved that the wrap had a lot of veggies and that the veggies were fresh. I tasted my boyfriend's pasta salad, and I thought it was only okay. We each had smoothies, and I liked both, especially my blueberry pie one. While I liked what I ate, I feel like this place is much better for lunch than for dinner since it's basically sandwiches and side dishes.

Price: 7. Decent.

Atmosphere: 7. It's cute, but it's quite tiny (e.g. 3 or 4 tables in there).

Staff: 7. Not particularly friendly or unfriendly.

Pros: All vegan!, Reasonable prices, Cute place

Cons: Parking in the area is sometimes hard, Small place, Limited menu

Awesome! - Edit

This place is great!! Fresh, tasty juices and smoothies and *delicious* deli-style foods (they have sandwiches too, it seemed) are served by some wonderful, friendly folks. They were willing to substitute my container for theirs, so I could pack my dinner into my airplane carry-on. Even on my first visit they made me feel right at home! They also have a case of vegan baked goods (including cupcakes!) from a local bakery and a small selection of packaged foods etc. The juices and smoothies are made right in front of you, and everything is streamlined so you get your order quickly!!

My one minor complaint was that the "small" size cup is 16oz! It's priced for 16oz, and it's a *lot* of beverage. Sometimes I just want a *small* (like, 8 or 12oz) amount of juice. . .

Pros: Delicious, High Quality Food/drinks, Super-Friendly Staff, Vegan Cupcakes

Cons: Juice Only Comes In 16 Or 20oz. Cups

I love this quaint cafe. The owner always has a smile on her face and you are always greeted when you come through the door.

The food is excellent. My favorite dish is the vegan fish wrap. The juices are made fresh to order and pack a delicious refreshing punch. Smoothies taste good as well.

The vibes a awesome.

Pros: locale, friendly, tasty
