BEST Vegan burger

Can gladly say I had the best vegan burger I've ever had, here at vurgers. I had the signature "Vurger" patty which is a beef-style mock meat patty and it was AMAZING (they also offer a quino/lentil patty or a Green burger with spinach mushroom and broccoli). Definitely the best mock meat patty I've ever had, and the other ingredients on the burger are also tasty. They also have delicious drinks and desserts, I had a hit chocolate and tiramisu and loved them both!

Pros: fresh ingredients , friendly staff , free wifi

Amazing All Vegan Food!!

Absolutely amazing place that is worth going out of the way to visit. Everything is vegan, the burger was outstanding. I added pineapple to mine and it was the best decision EVER!! I got the burger with bbq sauce and it was incredible.
We also tried the nachos and got the quesadilla toppings on the nachos and it was incredible!! Highly recommend stopping here and trying everything!

Pros: Completely Vegan, Vegan Burgers, Vegan Nachos

Delicious & Affordable

The nachos were SO good. I got the quesadilla which was satisfactory, wouldnt say it was the best Ive ever had but it was good nonetheless. My boyfriend got the Hamburguesa Vurger, which was very good. They also offer beyond meat, which is pretty cool. Very cute restaurant with some parking available. The milkshake was chocolate milk at best, still good but not what I was aiming for.

Pros: Affordable, Cute Atmosphere , Lots of Options

Great

This is a small venue, they’ve just moved to San Pedro. Burguers are great, breakfast is awesome, is a great place all vegan. The kind of bussines you have to support!

Really good burgers

I had the special world cup burger (hamburguesa mundialista) and it was awesome! Especially the fried onion rings. The burger with fries was 5500¢ which I found a very good price for such a big portion. I wasn't super convinced by their chocolate milkshake and the brownie, they weren't very chocolatey and the Brownie had a strange texture. But the service was super nice! They told us that in about two weeks they're planning on moving their business to San Pedro.

Pros: Really good burger, Super nice service

hamburguesas

the best burger ever!

I went to Vurger on the basis of the other reviews here on happy cow and I was not disappointed.

I had the mushroom burger, Tico style which was out of this world awesome and the cashew cheese and bbq potatoes were also incredible.

This place is seriously good vegan eating. If you’re in San Jose you’ve got to go!!

Edit: I went back the next day and had there special burger - it was tofu thing and it was even better than the one the previous day!! Nachos were amazing too. Seriously, this was the best vegan burger I’ve ever had!

Pros: best burger in the world, all vegan, everything tastes amazing

Cons: I don’t live next door!

Great food, friendly service

Vurgers knows what they're doing in the kitchen, and they bring a very friendly face to the table, too. While the main attraction is vegan burgers, which are available in various combinations of patties and sauces, there are also other good options on the menu, including regional specialties, as well as a dessert case. I had the classic Vurger with a side of tacos (which turned out to be a meal in itself) as well as a green juice, and finally a cinnamon roll for dessert. Everything was excellent.

Service was warm, friendly, and helpful, and English is spoken. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous. There's parking in the small lot out front.

Highly recommended. Enjoy!

left hungry

The burger was served on a cold toasted bun. The burger was made from frozen store bought products. They also have store bought vegan ice cream. It's places like this that make me feel left out however I know that a great vegan burger is possible but not at this place

Pros: fast food

Cons: bad food

One of the best veg-burgers (ever)

I came here because it was one of the only veg-places open on a sunday afternoon. And i left with extra-food in a doggy bag and wanting to come back.

Their specialty are burgers but they also have other things like wrap, pizzas, etc.. From tuesday to friday they also have a set lunch menu.

The burger that i got (cant remember the name but the patty is made with spinach, oats, etc..) was really amazing. The patty was juicy but not liquid.. it was just right. The bread was not too thick and very nicely toasted. The fries were very nice.. roasted.

I will definitely come here again before leaving San Jose.

Price: around 8€ for the burger, fries and drink

Pros: food, service
