Local dishes like laksa, veggie chicken rice, plus udon and bento set. Always ask which dishes can be veganised. Est. 2016. Direction: walking from the junction of Choa Chu Kang Rd and Pheonix Rd, take the flight of steps at that road junction. Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-10:00pm.

Great Food - Edit

If you have special crave for mala, this place is a heaven for you! Try different level of spice challenge to test where is your limit!

Other than the spicy items, there are plenty of yummy non-spicy dishes as well. The cereal mushroom or tofu is a must to order as it tastes just so yummy!

NOT all food items are vegan as some contain milk and butter. Kindly check with staff if the dish can be veganised.

Awesome discovery - Edit

This has got to be one of my favourite places in Singapore!! We found this very cozy place near Bukit Panjang MRT station and Phoenix LRT station. The food was delicious and portions were good, the service excellent, the price very reasonable.. We had the chance to talk with the owner/cook. She is a fabulous lady. I really recommend this place.

Pros: Good food., Cozy place, Reasonable prices

Cons: If you are distracted, you might miss the place.

Good ambience, delicious food - Edit

Strongly the 双味鱼 (sweet and spicy fish) and their 麻辣香锅 (mala hotpot) which is the one and only vegetarian mala hotpot in Singapore. Price is moderate but definitely worth the price.

Pros: Mala Hotpot, Ambience

Cons: Inaccessible (need climb up a slope)

Addictive Mala Hotpot - Edit

Green on Earth started operating in Phoenix Estate in Bukit Panjang since September 2016. They were previously at Beauty World.

What I tried:

The Mala Xiang Guo is a Homemade blend of spices, no onions or garlic at all. Choice of spice level available. My advice is to start at the smaller amount of spice.
麻辣香鍋 中小辣 Mala Xiang Guo, Lower Medium Spice level. It isn't spicy for me, just a hint of numbness but for those who can't eat spicy food at all it'll still sting your tongue a little. This big portion for $28 , enough for 3 pax

Claypot Mushroom Rice. I guess they've changed the recipe by removing the monkeyhead mushrooms and added a lot of ginger. It goods but the amount of ginger is just

Shaanxi Spicy and Sour noodles. Something new to their selections. It's spicy but addictively good. A little sour, something you'd expect from Northern Chinese cuisine. Quite a big bowl

Nice Mala Xiang Guo - Edit

Seldom see vegetarian mala xiang guo, this is one of them and it is quite nice and fragrant. But ordered their normal dish, but that spectacular and bit pricey for the ingredients..

green on earth - Edit

my mum and i visited this place with my omnivorous aunt and cousin who live just round the corner.

the meat-eaters enjoyed the "san bei mushroom" ("three cup 'chicken'", a typical taiwanese dish) and another sweet and sour mushroom dish. i liked the fact that the mushrooms were crispy, but thought that both textures tasted the same, with only a different sauce covering the mushrooms. it would have lent some variety if different mushrooms or styles of preparation had been used (i stand to be corrected if they had - but if the same mushrooms had indeed been used, perhaps the staff could have suggested an alternative dish?).

we also ordered rojak, mixed veggie, tofu (all were okay) and kang kong (my mum found that too salty).

i was late for dinner and my family did the ordering, so i don't know if these dishes are vegan or if the menu indicates which are vegan.

it's a very laid-back eatery with a neighbourhood vibe. i would visit again if i'm in the area or if my cousin is open to sharing another animal-free meal with me, but as it isn't in central singapore i wouldn't say it's a place you'd have/want to specially make the trek all the way to the west for.

Not worth a "special" visit - Edit

The location is at the far west of singapore. Not a very convenient place as it's not near the Mrt. However it's near Phoenix LRT and bus stops. For the west goers, do try out their laksa. Its not bad. As for other dishes that we have tried, they rate below average. Chicken rice is not tasty. The bento set also taste below average. Only the laksa is ok in my opinion, but my mum still fail it. One of the service staff is not good. Poor service. The rest are ok.

Pros: The set up is cozy

Cons: Location is not very ideal
