Decent but knows what "vegan" is

This is the first place I've seen using the word "vegan" in India, so I give them credit for that.

They have soy milk for coffee and can make some options of toasts, sandwiches, porridge or vegan muesli.

The options aren't overly-impressive, but credit for knowing about veganism.

Pros: Knows what vegan is, Very friendly

Cons: Serves meat

Claims to be vegan friendly, but really?

Hmmm they claim to be vegan friendly as written on walls and signs.. not much to select for vegans. Basic porridge and also serve with honey even when asked vegan so that again indicates they have close to nothing knowledge about veganism which is disappointing also nothing special could make a better porridge with my blindfolded. if your vegan this is a miss unless you want a strong espresso Americano to take away that’s the only positive they get from me. Big improvements if you want to reach out to the vegan community!!

Pros: Decent coffee

Cons: Expensive , Poor food quality , False advertising on vegan friendly

Cute little cafe!

We came across this cafe by chance and so glad we did! It is very cute and cosy with a nice atmosphere and good wifi. We shared a vegan brownie (which was delicious) but we will definitely be going back to try some of the other vegan dishes!!

Mmm that Coffee

Best coff I've had in India! Really nice soy milk. The vegan pancake was basic but tasty. My partner had the porridge which was good too. I'm itching to try the brownie. Small little nook. Nice atmosphere, nice people. Not an extensive menu but it's enough. Would recommend!

Pros: Soy milk, Great coffee, Desserts

Cons: Not a big menu, Meat on the menu

Double check your vegan orders

We were excited to see some decent vegan breakfast options here and ordered the banana porridge made with soy milk. It arrived drizzled in honey and so we sent it back. It’s great a place like this is offering vegan options but they should be making sure it is 100% vegan. Food was other wise ok, if a little over priced for what you get.

Pros: Vegan options, Good WiFi

Cons: Not completely knowledgable on veganism, Small portions , Expensive for what you get

Great little café

We loved to go in this little café for the great vegan brownie and chai with soy milk! Small place but nice, staff very kind (and with smile! Not so usal in India)
Vegans meals for lunch or diner were also available but we didn't try it.

Pros: Vegan options!, Nice staff with smile

Nice Atmosphere

Beautiful little Café with a small but nice selection of vegan food.
You might not want to use the toilet unless it's really urgent.

Pros: Declared vegan options

Cons: The toilet

Cute place in Udaipur

We had the vegan porridge and the brownie. The brownie was more a cake but was still nice. It was the first ‘sweet’ or ‘treat’ we had had since coming to India. The porridge was filling too. For me and my friend it’s both our favourite meal and truthfully we were just excited to have it.

Pros: Vegan options, Friendly , Family owned

Udaipur Surprise!

Ordered an Oreo & Banana Milkshake (Veganised) and a Pancake for Breakfast. Asked many questions before ordering so I wasn’t surprised when it came out but its not actually a pancake, its a dry crepe folded over some sliced fruit (banana, pineapple, papaya, pomegranate) It wasn’t too tasty to be quite honest, no syrup, sauces, or anything wet. Still a nice small restaurant near the greatest hostel Mustache Hostel!

Nothing exceptional, but it does the job

Not 100% vegetarian, but they have many vegetarian options and a few vegan options : vegan muesli is fine, and you can order a soy latte for example. Nothing exceptional, but it does the job.
Small and cosy place, staff is nice.

cute and welcoming

I ordered the vegan sandwich and a soy latte.
The sandwich was whole meal bread with salad fillings (tomato, cucumber & red onion) with a hummus spread. It was very simple but extremely satisfying for this westerner who was craving some non-spicy fresh food! The coffee was good, not great but it hit the spot!

Pros: soy milk

Good understanding of veganism

Nice little cafe with an excellent understanding of veganism. They make their own cashew cheese, for use as a pizza topping. They also serve vegan chai (with soya milk) and vegan 'brownie' (spongy cake).

Friendly staff. Indoor and outside (street) seating. Good quality wifi. Recommended.

Pros: Soya milk chai, Cashew cheese, Friendly staff

Cons: Not vegetarian

Good options

Have a few specified vegan options on their menu, I had the vegan porridge which was really good. They also have soy milk for drinks! Really good if you’re looking for somewhere for breakfast.

Good coffee!

Nice little coffee place. They have soy milk for the coffee and it was very good – hard to get in India. You can also have vegan breakfast here, apart from that there weren’t any vegan snacks/cakes/cookies (at least when I was there – if people keep asking for it, maybe they’ll change that…).

I only give 3 stars because I can’t really judge the quality of the food.

Pros: Good coffee - with soy milk!

Cons: Not many choices

They have some vegan options listed on the menu but they can make most drinks vegan with coconut or soy milk. Date and cardamom shake is really good. Also got the vegan salad

Great little café with a nice atmosphere

Perfect when you (or your stomach) need a break from Indian food. The smoothies and shakes are especially good and everything we tried from the food menu was delicious and nicely presented. There is wifi and some books to read, overall a relaxed and cosy atmosphere.
