Mediocre food and service - Edit
We visited the restaurant last summer and arrived the restaurant at the beginning of the evening service hours, perhaps that's why the staff and kitchen weren't ready yet?
Read moreFood: The food lacks the depth and complexity of tastes that authentic Indian food has! We had main dishes and a lentil soup. As for the soup: water and lentils pieces could be seen separated, a sign that it has not been cooked thoroughly, or just not blended. As such it tastes extremely salty when drinking the soup (which is basically the vegetable fond, and I suspect it is a fix because of the saltiness), and I was chewing the lentil pieces. No experienced chef would prepare Indian lentil soups like this. Main dishes are very expensive and portion is very small...
Service: The staff spilt curry on my white/blue top...... He apologized, but I can't use the top anymore....

I seldomly give bad reviews for restaurants but we just did not like this one.
Read moreThe reason being that the food was just not tasty! We had the garlic nan which was just very plain and you could barely taste the garlic. Our two main dishes were delivered in some very small bowls and the rice was barely enough for one person. I would not mind the portion size much, but the two dishes were just not very tasty. Pretty watery and lacking of taste.
No idea what happened here but the 17Euro for each(!) dish felt like way too much for the quality as well as the portion. I think I never had bad indian food, but this restaurant somehow managed.
I'm just suprised by all the good reviews here. Maybe they had a bad day.
On a positive note: They have an extra paragraph on the menu explaining how they cater to vegans and the staff was super friendly!

I can only recommend this place. They have a big variety of vegan options. The food was delicious and the staff explained everything perfectly.

Nice Indian restaurant - Edit
The food was very delicious and very much, but the staff was very friendly and packed the the rest for take away. You can also sit in the cute and rustic backyard that even has wine plants.
Read moreBut you have to be a bit careful to explain that you want the vegan option because the waiter didn't understand it the first time (but I think he was new).

Die Auswahl an veganen und vegetarischen Gerichten ist sehr groß, sowohl bei den Vorspeisen, als auch bei den Hauptspeisen.
Read moreIn der Region haben wir kaum Restaurants mit veganen Gerichten entdeckt und dieses hier war ein echtes Highlight.
Die Kellnerin hat bemerkt, dass unsere gesamte Bestellung vegan war und hat daraufhin auch die kleine Vorspeise aufs Haus angepasst.
Wir haben uns rundum gut versorgt gefühlt!
