Delicious

I hadn’t had ice cream in 20 years. My husband said let’s go to gingers and get some vegan ice cream. I said OK let’s give it a shot and it was delicious maybe from not eating it for so long but it was really good and the help was really really nice. I got the Oreo ice cream. I found my bit pricey though.

Their vegan ice cream flavors blew me away!

Thank goodness you can try up to 4 flavors before deciding because it was challenging to narrow it down. I sampled the Burnt Sugar Lavender (delicate taste), Vegan Miso Cookie Dough (lighter flavor than I expected), Chocolate Covered Strawberry (fantastic, authentic taste), and Matcha Mint Chip. I ordered a scoop of the latter because it was bursting with flavor.

Flavors are labeled with allergens like gluten, coconut, or soy when used. They serve vegan ice cream sandwiches and pints in the freezer.

The toppings weren't labeled as plant-based or not. The staff mentioned that the cones aren't vegan.

The prices are on the high side for ice cream but comparable to other gourmet options in town like Salt & Straw. A kid scoop is $5.25 and a single scoop is $6.25. You get more bang for your buck with the latter as it's about double the size.

Parking can be challenging in this busy area due to many restaurants. But, if you're patient you can find a meter on 3rd street. Otherwise, there are a few lots to choose from.

Pros: Creative, unique flavors, Next to Monty's burgers (perfect complement), Kind staff

Cons: Parking is challenging, High prices
