Serves meat, vegan options available. Located under the old city arch at the end of Via Roma with outdoor seating under the arch. On Saturday evenings the menu is 99% vegetarian & vegan, with the exception of a hamburger on the dinner menu. The rest of the time the menu is all-vegetarian-and-vegan, and has many vegan choices, including plant milks and sweets. The menu changes regularly and is written in Italian on a chalkboard. On some evenings they host events such as open mic jazz jams. Unlike most Italian restaurants, there is no cover charge (coperto) and the water is always free. Open Mon-Tue 07:30-16:00, Wed-Thu 07:30-00:00, Fri-Sat 07:30-01:00. Closed Sun.

Very cozy and vibrant place

Nice restaurant with vegetarian and vegan options. A lot of interesting events every nights and especially weekends. Every thursday there is a "world dinner" always from a different country. The menù changes everyday. Very super fresh and organic and local ingredients. Go for it and try by yourself

Great Vibe and Price

This was one of my favorite places to eat in Reggio Emilia. I went during a live jazz jam, open for any local musicians to join in. The musicians were very talented, especially their drummer who brought back memories of hearing Stan Kenton's drummer John Von Ohlen lead the Blue Wisp Big Band (Cincinnati).

What really stands out is there is no cover charge (coperto) and the water is free. While you can find Italian restaurants that don't charge cover if you look hard enough, I've never seen free water. This makes the meal very affordable.

The food was tasty and service friendly. The menu is only in Italian, so if you are not fluent then you may want to bring a dictionary.

I'd give it 5 stars if I could, but Happy Cow limits to 4 stars for places that serve meat. They only serve 1 meat item for 1 meal of 1 day of the week. Let's hope they decide to go 100% veg and I can give them 5 stars!

Pros: No cover (coperto) and free water, Fun musical events, Great vibe sitting under the arc

Cons: Only one meal away from being 100% veg, Italian menu, bring a dictionary to translate
