was a bit ubsure about a sweet potato bagel but it amazing. the large breakfast is also great.
i also want to give a special mention for the chia pudding, which is a yogurt with a bit of strawberry jam and chia seeds. it was fantastic and it comes with the large breakfast (i think the small also) but you can buy separately . the smoothies also are fresh and amazing. i couldnt fault this place

Pros: fresh

Nice breakfast! - Edit

I had a small breakfast plate here and it was full of different spreads, some delicious quince marmelade and my friends had the big plate with comes with an amazing amaranth yogourt with some fruit coulis on top. We appreciated to have a little basket with bagels, pastries and bread. The spreads were super tasty but a bit oily for my taste. Otherwise, they have a really nice terrace and it's a cosy place to have breakfast on a sunny day in Berlin!

Pros: nice breakfast, two sizes, great terrace , nice staff

Cons: the food was a bit oily

100% real thing: Fresh, friendly, high quality - Edit

Lovely, peaceful, friendly, super high quality, fresh café.
Bagels, ice "cream", cake, cookies, soups. All bagels garlic-free, yeah! Inside around 15 seats, outside, too. Very friendly staff. Some vegan journals & flyers. 100% the real thing. Good coffee, too. Peaceful customers. Nice interior old-school design. Pic of a happy cow on one saucer, that's a sign!

Best vegan breakfast I had so far! - Edit

I would absolutely recommend this place for breakfast to every vegan visitor of Berlin. Even if your not staying somewhere around, this experience is worth a little trip!
You have the choice of a small or a big breakfast, which consists of salad, fresh veggies and fruits, tempeh, tofu and different kinds of sweet or hearty spreads plus different types of bread. For the big breakfast you get a bowl of additional Müsli which tasted better than most desserts I've tried at many other restaurants! They offer bagels with a variety of fillings, like sweet potato, tempeh or tofu, which are also highly recommendable, if you are not hungry enough for a bigger breakfast.
Since I go all out when I eat out I also had to try their marshmallow cake and I loved it! It is fluffy, creamy and has just the right amount of sweet! All in all one of my best restaurant experiences while travelling so far!

Pros: Very tasty and creative food, Authentic , Big portions

Nice place, worth visiting - Edit

Geh Veg is small but comfortable, with a wide range of savoury (though the options sometimes run low towards the end of the day) and sweet options. Good coffee too, and also lots of vegan ice-cream options! I'm a big fan of their hot dogs :)

Deli-cious! - Edit

Geh Veg is an awesome tiny vegan deli - they serve mostly bagels and salads, all fresh and homemade! You can't go wrong here, everything is amazing :) You can easily take everything to gol. They also sell fantastic vegan ice cream when it gets warm (which is now!!). Highly recommended!

Pros: amazing food, inexpensive and quick, ICE CREAM!!

First stop on our vegan tour of Berlin! - Edit

On the first day that we were in Berlin, we stopped here for breakfast. The owners were very friendly and served us an absolutely delicious breakfast with chia yogurt, cake, coffee and more. A simple but welcoming place, great for breakfast.

Amazing breakfast - Edit

I ordered a small breakfast here and it was actually very big (and I can eat a lot, so I would recommand to order a small breakfast ;-)). The plate was soooo good and something different! Everything tasted really good and the guys working here are very friendly. I also loved the fact that Michael Jackson was playing the whole time I was there haha.

Pros: Huge portions!, Very good, something different, Nice atmosphere

Unique, but delicious breakfast! - Edit

Small vegan cafe near where we were staying in Berlin. We asked for 2 large breakfasts based on previous reviews and when they arrived we didn't know where to start! It was like having a tasting platter for breakfast, and everything was absolutely delicious. Great coffee as well. This place has two dollar signs indicating its a little more pricey, but I thought it was very cheap considering we couldn't even finish our €7.50 breakfast plates there was so much food! Would recommend.

Pros: Great food, homemade and very tasty

Cons: Have to use bathroom at cafe next door (not a big

Delicious breakfast - Edit

I had the small breakfast plate with a almond latte, and my boyfriend had the big plate + an espresso. We were both very pleased! All the colours and tastes = delicious. We couldn't finish it all, we were very fulfilled.

Later on we tried some of their ice cream - also very good. The stracciatella was not for us, but the dark chocolat, the blueberry and the raspberries were nice!

Pros: Good value, Friendly staff, Excellent food

Amazing Breakfast - Edit

I went here with a friend and we got the breakfast to share which was enough for the both of us (not small eaters)! The food was amazing! We were brought a largeish basket of bread and a large platter of different cremes and dips, sweet potato, avocado, tomato and fruit! It was all incredibly tasty! They had however run out of yoghurt so they brought us ice cream instead, really didn't mind this at all and the ice cream was incredible anyway! Probably some of the best I've had in Berlin! The coffee was also very good and the girl working was lovely! Well worth the trip a bit further out than I would usually go!

Pros: Amazing Food, Generous Servings , Friendly Staff

Best vegan breakfast and ice-cream in Berlin! - Edit

We stopped here on our way home from Berlin and I am very glad we did, because it was my highlight for Berlin. The big breakfast plate is simply awesome with two types of bread, lots (!) of home made spreads, some fruits and salad and a very tasty couscous salad plus some yoghurt with amaranth. At 7,50 I consider that quite cheap and the quality was just great. Coffee is also very good, although the cups might be a little bigger for my taste. We also tasted 5 types of ice cream, I believe there are 16 available (varietes change) including such exotic flavours like ginger, rosemary or acai. Finally we took some sweet potato bagels (different bread types available) for the road and those were very good as well with delicious spread, fresh salad and home made remoulade. This is a definite recommendation, I did not find a better vegan breakfast in Berlin yet.

Pros: excellent and rather cheap food, very friendly staff, beautiful outdoor seating

Ice cream - Edit

I'm gluten free so bread-and-cakes type places (there are so many!) are useless for me. But I discovered recently that Geh Veg has ice cream - like 20 different varieties including interesting ones like green tea, walnut, and sanddorn. So now this place is back on my radar :) I recommend the walnut flavour.

Pros: Ice cream

Cons: Gluten

in love with the sweet potato bagel - Edit

Great place to grab some delicious vegan food if you're on the run or to meet a friend. The girl at the counter was really nice and the interior decoration was pretty. I ordered a sweet potato bagel and it tasted amazing! So I bought another one for take-out and some pistachio and matcha ice cream to go. (I loved pistachio, but matcha not so much. I guess it's because I'm not a big fan of matcha after all). One bagel is enough to fill you up if you are not extremely hungry. I ate both with little time in between, because I couldn't resist, so I was extremely stuffed afterwards. The prized weren't necessarily low but definitely reasonable.

Pros: taste

Nice for a quick bite. - Edit

We stopped here for a quick bite to eat and opted for two tempeh bagels and some ginger tea. Everything was really fresh and tasty. They also offered a frühstück teller that seemed that really popular and looked great. In addition to this, they had a variety of cakes on offer. We chose the almond cake and a brownie, both of which were delicious.

We enjoyed the decor, cosy atmosphere and friendly staff. It seemed really animal friendly as we noticed a couple of cute pooches roaming around.

Only negative was that it was a bit pricey for what we had and not a huge selection, but would definitely visit again.

Pros: Tasty, Nice atmosphere, Friendly staff

Cons: A bit pricey
