Never more - Edit
Gecobiondo is a small restaurant next to viale Marconi Guglielmo with few tables. I visited it last week and my personal experience was not good.
I took the sette nani menu a dessert that I thought was the surprice of the menu plus water and after 2 hours I spent 28,00 €.
Service really low, food good but not entusiasthic.
Pros: vegan hosteria
Cons: really expensive

Organic, local vegan food in Rome - Edit
Gecobiondo is a Trattoria, which means the dishes change day to day, so it's best not to choose off the menu - you just choose how hungry you are (the second option comes with pasta) and then the dishes start rolling out. Because it's more buffet style the presentation left a little to be desired, but the food was very good nonetheless. Like several of the other restaurants on this list, it's not very central but if you're hungry after a long day of sight-seeing, then it's worth the visit as the food is tasty, healthy and filling. It's also all locally sourced and organic - even the alcohol. It's a good choice in Rome for good vegan food.
Pros: Everything is local organic, Totally vegan, Good food
Cons: Location

last chance - Edit
Not recommended for vegan people with refined tastes. If you are starving and can not find anything, then you can try your luck, but there are many better places than this... I went only once but I think I will not be going again: food seemed not fresh (seemed heated) and dishes were really poor.
Pros: nothing
Cons: not fresh food (I believe), poor variety, vegan but not claimed

Very bad service - Edit
It's expensive, compared to the size of servings (they say it's because it's a tasting!). The food is neither bad, nor good (very simple recepies, the same you'd do at home on a working day), but the service was awful! The man (the owner) didn't care at us at all, he had forgot our reservation and during the meal he forgot to give us bread (which was included in the menu). We had to wait a lot between a dish and the next one, because they try to serve the same dish to more people at once, so if you come first, you'll have to wait for the other customers!!! The owner talked to us just when he wanted to try to sell us more food than what we already ordered. The most ridiculous thing was the fact the he tried to sell us a very simple vegan chocolate cake by saying:" Don't miss it: when will you have the opportunity to eat stuff like this?". Tomorrow at home, made by myself, dear!

Pros: Nice place
Cons: Expensive, Small portions, Bad staff
Overpriced and for anorexic - Edit
Prices are very high compared with portion size.
The volume of food served here is ridicolous, is so small that is enough for a starter, or a bird.
Almost all foods, that are generally acceptable, are pre-cooked and served almost cold, the service is deathly slow.
I don't reccomend it.
Pros: Food acceptable
Cons: Price, Food, Service

Good vegan food, a bus ride away from downtown - Edit
The owner is very helpful and nice and provided us with a full vegan "surprise" menu. There are 3 menus: "small", "medium", "large", and the dishes change daily. As we didn't want to know in advance what would be served we were surprised by a mixed green salad, hummous spread and tabouleh, mixed veggie/tofu/seitan skewer, spinach quiche, pasta and cake.
Pros: Friendliness, Variety of food
Cons: Distance from downtown
