A rare find for vegan food in the area

We visited Galilea twice during our stay near Guarne, having the menu del día on both occasions. The vegan option was not advertised but on asking if they had anything vegan the owner replied that they could veganise the set menu. On the second occasion they asked if we wanted it vegan, vegetarian or ‘flexitarian’ so it was clear this was a standard option.

Set menu was salad bar, soup, juice and main, which was stir fry, rice and potato croquettes on the first time, and lentil burger with BBQsauce, rice and plaintain the second. The food was really good and we were pleased to find a restaurant serving vegan food in the local area.

There is also a small shop selling soya milk, vegan cheese, pulses, chocolates etc
