Amazing vegan hot pot!

I can’t tell you how happy I am to have a fully vegan hot pot restaurant in Bangkok. You can eat in peace knowing everything—every broth, every item—is 100% plant based and 100% cruelty free. Hot pot is generally vegan friendly, but it’s still a tricky proposition because of the base. Most restaurants typically offer one vegan broth at most. Here you can choose between many different kinds. I decided to go with a Thai-flavored broth, and I ordered the spicy Thai herb base. I wanna go back and work my way through them all.

Then there are all kinds of vegetables, mushrooms, noodles, tofu and more to choose from. They make wonderful vegan dumplings, and they have a special one that is mochi inside a tofu skin wrap. I’d never had those paired like that before, but I loved the flavored that the tofu skin absorbed combined with the warm chewiness of the mochi after cooking in the broth. The plates are small, since each pot is for one person. You can order a lot more variety this way. I tried around 8 different items in my hot pot and a couple of dipping sauces. As a connoisseur of Chinese hot pot and Sichuanese hot pot more specifically, I thought the sesame dipping sauce was too sweet and not quite what I expected. It didn’t slow me down any, and next time I’d simply skip that sauce for others—and there are many—on the menu.

To be honest, I also loved the decor. I love bright colors, and I love pink. (They didn’t consult me when designing the restaurant.) It feels joyful and clean. The restaurant is also open, airy and bright. It’s fitting for the only 100% plant-based hot pot in Bangkok to have a one-of-a-kind design and atmosphere. By now it’s pretty clear that I loved it here, and I plan to come back many times.

A quick note for the budget conscious vegan: it’s a pricier meal for Bangkok. I spent close to 500 baht, and I didn’t go crazy. It was absolutely worth the price to me, and I’ll treat myself again. If you can afford it, I say go for it! Support a business that is fully committed to a plant-based diet.

Yummy hot pot in Bangkok

Delicious hot pot restaurant. I love their homemade bamboo tube ball and dumplings. They have good choice of soup broths to suit your tastes.

So fun!

What an incredible new restaurant brought to us by the founders of GYO FU in Chinatown. A fully vegan suki restaurant, much like the popular MK suki chain. Creative and delicious mok-meats and tofu, wonderful selection of vegetables and mushrooms, and choice of different soup bases and dipping sauces. The restaurant is beautifully designed and decorated, the ambiance is incredible, the service is outstanding and the flavors remarkable. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Interesting

Food was better than I expected. We tried both mala and tomyum. Mala was maybe more like 3* but I am very picky about mala. Not sure about the decor. Felt like I was eating at 10 year old girls birthday party. This is a bold investment.
