pure bliss

sex is cool but have you tried eating fruits and season strawberry cream sandos while swinging peacefully on a bench at the park a block away amidst the Japanese autumn foliage while listening to clairo?

Fruit Sandwich heaven

The store is beautiful to look at, and the sandwiches we got were exceptional. We didn’t sit inside bc everyone has to also buy a drink to do that. But the bench outside was perfect. The kids really loved their strawberry sandwich and we split the mango. It was 1/2 a mango fitted in there and the cream was just sweet enough, so it wasn’t cloying or overwhelming. As a bonus, there’s a lovely shrine across the street.

Pros: Beautiful to look at, Perfect sweetness (not too sweet), Fluffy bread, airy cream and excellent fruit

Cons: Pricey , Need to buy a drink to sit inside

Cute Café

The food was so pretty and the Drinks were good too. It was quite pricy in my opinion but still a really good find!

Enriched my weekend

Only a few seats. Having been to Posh many times. The owner is the same so the quality is ensured. Pricey but worth a try.

INCREDIBLE!

Absolutely wonderful strawberry sandwiches. I didn't think something as simple as strawberry, cream and bread could be so delicious!
It's a little expensive (£20 for two sandwiches and coffees) however, well worth it. Very fresh fruit, the juiciest strawberries I've ever eaten!

Pros: Incredible vegan sandwiches , Very fresh fruit , Friendly staff

Overpriced and salty

I tried the 1200yen strawberry cream half sandwhich. The bread was salty and the cream needed more sugar. You had to order a drink per person to eat in, and at minimum 1000 yen for the sweet, it makes it a very expensive place. There are chairs outside to sit on for free. Whilst I enjoyed the sandwhich, I would go to a different one instead next time.

Pros: mango flavour, more exotic fruits or options

Cons: expensive , salty

Delicious

Really lots of choice of fruit sandwiches!
Also different cremes, such as matcha, cocoa,..
Well stuffed and super tasty.

The cafe also has other selection like porridge (which is very rare to find).

Cons: A bit expensive

Incredible!

Although a bit pricey, these vegan fruit sandos are a must try on your visit to Japan! They were delicious and I wish I was able to try more off of their menu.

It’s also a short walk to the vegan convenience store Weller.

Yummy

I was skeptical in the beginning but the fruit sandwich was good. I had the one with mikan. The cream inside was surprisingly good and light. And their lemonaide soda is also nice.

Pros: Light and fresh, Beautiful

Sandwich was amazing

I loved the place, the strawberry one was so good. Only thing was that she said that we had to buy two Drinks to sit down which was disappionting as there was no one sitting in the coffee. But maybe I understood her wrong. #Veganuary

Amazing whipped cream!

I came here with a group of friends who are mostly not vegan. And we all loved the sandwich’s and the crapes! I would absolutely recommend this place. I’ll be dreaming about the whipped cream when I got home to America.

The best!

We tried the fig, the kiwi, and the orange fruit sandwiches. The bread and the creamy filling is amazing and the ?owner or person working there was very courteous—even saw us as we were leaving (we ate outside), came out of the store to take our bag of garbage/wrappers from our sandwiches so we wouldn’t have to carry it with us. These were so good we even ordered another one! Was such a refreshing treat for a hot day.

Pros: Good variety available when we visited midday, Very fresh ingredients

Delicious Fruit Sando but expensive

Nice little shop, friendly English speaking staff, only cashless (apple pay worked here if I remember correctly), was a bit shocked about the price but nevermind, the sandos tasted great!

Pros: Fresh, Delicious

Cons: Bit expensive

Expensive and overrated

Honestly, this place is not that good. I think I paid ¥1200 for a strawberry cream sandwich and it was super mediocre.

The bread wasn't very fresh, the strawberries were okay, not that sweet and the ratio of cream to bread was not generous at all.

I would not come back here and think there are probably way better and more affordable vegan fruit sandwich shops out there (Ive heard Hatoya is good!)

Pros: Good to have the option for vegan cream sandwiches

Cons: Expensive , Very average flavour

Delicious fruit sandwich

Had a banana sandwich with soy whipped cream and two slices of fluffy bread. So happy to try this kind of sandwich which once became so viral in Japan. It’s much more than just a cute little snack.

Super yummy ( if expensive) vegan cream sandwiches & Tarts

The mango tart was delicious.
I also love the sandwiches, as vegan version of this retro Japan item is so unusual in Japan.
( But super expensive!)

Great sandwich, extremely expensive

This was such a tasty treat that we enjoyed more than we thought we would.

We got the strawberry 1/2 sandwich each. It was delicious, couldn't fault it. My partner said it is the best cream she has ever eaten. However, it was 1100Y per half sandwich which seemed extremely expensive. Happy to have gone and tried it, but too expensive to return.

Fruit Sandwich

A bit pricey, but definitely top quality. The fruits are delicious, with banana, pineapple, mango all year round and seasonal fruit sandwiches. The store interior is stylish with an eating area as well, and the staff was friendly and informative, making sure to mention all sandwiches are vegan.

Pros: All vegan, Delicious

Cons: Pricey, No cash accepted

Good but not cheap

Fruits and Season is a new shop in Ebisu that sells vegan fruit sandwiches— soy cream and fruit in between two slices of bread. If that sounds like something you’d be into, read on.

The shop is small but bright and welcoming, and the staff are very friendly. Which is good, because these sandwiches are not cheap. Two sandwiches (banana and strawberry) set us back over 1500 yen.

But you know what? They were really good! The fruits were fresh, the bread was soft, and the soy cream was deelish. It’s pricey, for sure, but check it out if you think it’d be something you’d like.

Big Vegan Fruit Sandwiches

This shop has been getting a lot of publicity in Japanese media, and after waiting in line for about 45 minutes, we finally made it inside. Only two customers are allowed at a time and a sales person takes your order at the door, before you've even gotten to the sandwich display. There are no prices listed as prices are determined each day depending on the quality of the fruit. I found that to be a bit odd and shady to be honest, as everything is just so expensive! We got the mixed fruit (788 yen) and the mango (1458 yen). They were very big and heavy, and quite delicious! But still way too expensive. I can't really see myself going again, as I can easily make a soy cream sandwich at home for A LOT less.

Cons: Expensive
