gutes Essen und super Eis - Edit
Da die Bowl leider schon aus war (wir kamen kurz vor Ladenschluß) haben wir die Schupfnudeln mit Kraut und angebratenem Tofu bestellt. Sehr lecker und gute Portionen zu einem günstigen Preis. Auch das Eis war super und es gab ca. zehn verschiedene Sorten. Nur schade, dass das Café direkt und ohne Sicht- und Lärmschutz an einer Hauptstraße liegt.

Wir haben den Gemüse Pancake mit Chutney sowie 4 Kuchen und 3 selbst gemachte Eissorten probiert. Alles war sehr lecker und die Portionen groß.

Die Besitzerin "Fräulein Grün" ist sehr sympathisch, wir haben zusammen gescherzt und gelacht. Sie ist unübersehbar eine überzeugte Tierschützerin.
Draußen zu sitzen, mit (beschränkter) Aussicht auf die Alpspitze und das Wettersteingebirge ist einfach schön, wenn auch etwas laut (Hauptstraße). Drinnen ist es mit der rührenden Tierportrait-Galerie ebenfalls schön, wenn auch etwas klein und einfach gehalten.
Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist anständig.
Wir würden oft hier essen, wenn wir in der Nähe wohnen würden.
We tried the vegetable pancake with chutney as well as 4 cakes and 3 homemade ice creams. Everything was very tasty and the portions were large.
Strawberry cake: fluffy, moist, fresh like an early summer morning and totally delicious.
Cheesecake: the best cheesecake my husband has ever had, vegan or not.
Oreo cake: very tasty.
Coconut cake: very creamy.
The owner "Fräulein Grün" is very friendly, we joked and laughed together. She is unmistakably a staunch animal rights activist.
Sitting outside, with a (limited) view of the Alpspitze and the Wetterstein mountains is pleasant, although a bit noisy (main road). Inside, with the touching animal portrait gallery, it's also nice, but small and modest.
We would eat here often if we lived nearby.

The food was great! The place itself seemed neglected here and there. The owner/waitress seemed quite gruff in the beginning, later she was really nice! (I already read about her being not so nice on google) anyways, great food!🙌

Usually there‘s a selection of three hearty dishes, mostly a bowl and two others, such as curries, Mac‘n‘Cheese, and others. I have yet to come across a meal that‘s not really tasty! There‘s also a fairly large selection of cakes - and they‘re absolutely fantastic!! Lovely owner and really good food at a fair price, definitely recommend!

Fräulein Grün is the only all-vegan place in Garmen-Partenkirchen, which is already quite an achievement in this meat-laden area. Really enjoyed the Buddha bowl, great tasty dressing and super healthy! The amount of options for food is not that large (3 when I was there), but the variety of cakes definitely is! I had great difficulty choosing from the 6-7 options the time I was there.

We were super happy to see that there’s a completely vegan café option in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. And it’s a good one!
Read moreFräulein Grün (“Miss Green”) is run by a lovely lady who manned both the kitchen and registry when we visited (twice…) in October.
The menu isn’t huge but seemed to be changed regularly.
We loved the warm dish of the moment with sweet potato, pumpkin and couscous. It was just what we were in the mood for after a day of exploring the mountains.
There was also a “Happy bowl” and a Turkish lentil soup on offer.
The cake cabinet was filled with seven vegan cakes when we visited. We ordered the “Swedish apple cake”. We’re guessing these go on a rotation, too.
Important to note: Apart from other delicious vegan drinks, Fräulein Grün offers up a vegan hot chocolate. *Heaven* when it’s cold outside.
Spacing is limited inside with just a few tables but it’s also possible to eat outside.
