such kind people

I came here late in the day and most of the bread was sold out. I told them I would come again some time just to try the bread and she mentioned if I called, I could reserve some things ahead of time. I appreciate that.

They have sandwiches and bingsu as well, I got the bingsu with a drip decaf coffee.

Everything was good but not exceptional. It’s a large space and would be great for meeting people. I will go back to try the bread ! It’s nice to have a truly vegan cafe.

Delicious

The food and coffee was very good! We were able to choose from 5 different dishes, all of them were vegan. The staff was very friendly.

Cafe with meals

This is a large vegan cafe that offers bakery items as well as proper meals, e.g. pasta, wraps and sandwiches. Most items are cooked following the Buddhist concept of "No Pungent Vegetables" (무오신채), so onions, garlic etc. are not used for seasoning.
They seem to bake on location and breads are made with rice.

The chef was not there when we visited, and it is better to make pre-orders for food one day in advance. We could only get a so-called "burger" which was actually a sandwich with toast. A couple of sweet bakery items are available as light snacks as well. They even have vegan Bingsu!

Somehow I did not like the sandwich that much, although it was nice to have fresh vegetables and fruit along with it. The quality of the bakery items varied a lot: The chocolate cake was good, but the muffin was kinda weird (did not seem to have been baked properly)... I sincerely hope that we just had bad timing today.
The black sesame latte was ok, though.

The cafe itself is rather large: It is a new, 2-story building with seating on the 1st floor and 2nd floor. They also sell a couple of random products including watches, tea, vegan mockmeat and instant noodles. Staff is very friendly.

Pros: friendly staff, nice clean concept

Cons: quality of bakery items varies largely, taste either ok or bad

3 only because of very limited selection

I wish I could have given them a 4 but they only had chocolate cake and fresh bread when we visited. That is too limited. The choco cake did look nice but we got the bread because it was fresh off the cooling rack after baking. The bread was good. Coffee was also good. Their food menu looked interesting but none were available.
