Try to order in Italian! - Edit
Go try to order in Italian at this place, it does make a difference😄Great
Read moreYou might get told that “nothing” is vegan, if you order in English, even tho some of the pizzas and the crostino is vegan as well. The variety isn’t huge but I’d return here every day for the atmosphere and the quality of the few vegan options. Also cappuccini can be ordered with soy/oat milk

Nice vegan croissant and panini! - Edit
We got a vegan croissant and a chicory panini and both were yum. Also had a soya coffee for us. The vibe in here is lovely with all the staff in little hats and aprons.

All prosciutto - Edit
I don't get how giving five stars are alllowed. This place sells meat. Moreover only a croissant is indicated as vegan so not many options. When I asked the casshier "which ones are vegan?" The answer I got was "all prosciutto nothing vegan" I really though he took offence from my veganism. Since there were many things clearly meat free, shouting "all prosciutto" several times was quite an unexpected and very rude response. Probably he sensed the excessiveness of his response and showed me a piece of bread and said "only this is vegan" I did not buy anything. Surely not a vegan friendly place. Even if the service was great a meat selling place that has only a piece of bread and a croissant should not be in happycow. There are many good alternatives in Rome.

"Vegan friendly" does not only mean that the place sells vegan items, it also means that they treat vegans with respect. If they're gonna scold you for asking what's vegan, then who cares how many vegan croissants they have!? Thank you for the review.
