Nice Place! - Edit
We were driving through the area and were looking for gluten free vegan options. This place had delicious fried vegetables with falafel. The vegan option was labeled on the menu and they mentioned creating a vegan/healthy menu soon. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was nice and clean.

i ordered a falafel gyro sandwich straight up (i’m vegetarian), my boyfriend ordered a falafel gyro sandwich with no feta, no taziki sauce (he’s vegan) and asked very politely if it would be possible to add hummus to the sandwich. mine came out fast and hot, made just right for me, but if you are a vegan, just hope and pray you come on a day where the server knows the difference in ingredients!! it was almost like she didn’t understand what exactly each component was, because she put it in as no falafel and no feta, so all that came out was a few bits of lettuce and taziki sauce smothered on top so we immediately were like wait we needed none of the sauce, so she just kinda took it and left. fast forward 5-10 min she brought out just vegetables. literally nothing else but ran away so fast we had to wait like five minutes to tell her nope it’s still not right !! so the solution i suppose was to just bring out hummus on the side, and then literally 20 minutes later that little plate of effed up falafel. oh yeah and the pita bread had already hardened bc we had now waited 30 min for pretty much nothing, but he picked at it. i picked at mine (felt bad eating when he couldn’t) so we really politely tried to be like listen we’re done but we don’t want to pay the $10 for a sandwich that wasn’t even prepared as a sandwich… she was obviously highly annoyed that it wasn’t right trust me girl i get it!! i’ve been a server for many years and just everything that happened was avoidable. we could have both ate some yummy food n given them great review and a fat tip but she wouldn’t even let me tip her! she was just like no y’all …. (subtext being GTFO !!!) never experienced that before and praying to god i never have to again ☹️🙏🏻

Worst experience I've ever had - Edit
Went here a couple days ago with my girlfriend while in town at the recommendation of a friend.
Read moreI am vegan and I've had countless good experiences at Mediterranean places so I ordered the same thing I do everywhere: a falafel gyro with no tzatziki sauce and no feta add hummus. She attempted to repeat back my order but immediately said "no falafel" which I immediately corrected but evidently was not understood. Initially I was brought a pita with literally just vegetables and tzatziki sauce. I requested it be made the way I asked initially (I tried to go through my order again) and without even making sure she had my order right she immediately took it back and brought me back a pita with just vegetables and some hummus on the side. I then flag her down for the 3rd time to explain that I do indeed want falafel on my falafel gyro. 20 minutes later I'm brought out the scraps and crispy bits of what once may have been an entire falafel on a plate to put on my now stone cold pita. My girlfriend pays for hers and I refuse to pay for mine to which the server responded by not letting my girlfriend tip despite us insisting as it was obvious they just wanted us to leave.
By far the worst experience I've ever had in a restaurant. If you are vegan steer clear of this place as it's obvious they hate you.

“Fat Greek Salad” with tzatziki sauce. Huge portion, reasonably priced ($10.99), fantastic flavor. Definitely a surprising treat when looking for *somewhere* to eat.

Tasty vegan and gluten-free falafel made this work - Edit
We adapted the big Greek salad and Olympus fries to make them vegan. Our server had no issues with deleting cheese from our orders and swapping dressings. The food was very tasty and we were happy to support a local business.

Falafel and Fries - Edit
Whenever I'm in Russelville, Foodies is my go-to lunch spot. Nicely decorated interior and considerate wait staff. Hand-cut fries are crisp and seasoned. Bonus points for falafel!

They have the falafel gyro as vegan option. Just ask for no cheese and I would ask if the Tzaziki is vegan before adding it to the gyro.

Very good meal and they were knowledgeable and helped us. We were able to change/add veggie items to the gyros. Robert the owner talked with us about our requests so that he could make some more availability of vegan options. Nice guy, sweet staff.
