Note that for many of these dishes it is necessary to replace chipotle or jalepeno-basil aioli with pumpkin & garlic or vegan chipotle aioli, and omit queso blend. Unfortunately we were set on Bad Hombres, which has just closed down. Fonda is just around the corner from where Bad Hombres Bondi used to be, so we gave it a try. We had just recently visited Vandal in Newtown, so perhaps our expectations were too high! The food wasn't bad, but my partner didn't like the vegan cheese at all (after having being spoiled at Vandal), and we wouldn't visit again. It's a good option if you're in the area and really set on Mexican.

Best quesadillas in town! - Edit
Very clear menu with clear vegan options and actually lots of choice! I had the sweet potato quesadillas and they were amazing!! Staff were very accommodating and offered either without cheese or with vegan cheese, also had the option for gluten free tortillas. Also great margaritas!
