Delicious and awesome vibe! - Edit
Oh. My. Goodness. I can see myself eating here all the time for lunch. Loads of options and everything so far has been full of flavor and perfectly filling! So far I've tried the mother earth bowl and the tofu platter with cauliflower risotto and chili sweet potatoes. Both were completely different and absolutely delicious! Also has the coolest vibe. Highly reccomend!

Light & Well Labeled - Edit
Walking into Flower Child you'll find a well labeled menu board with indications for their vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. You place your order at the counter and are given a number and your food is brought to your table. Seating was all low tops and mainly regular tables with just some booth space available.
Read moreWe ordered the simple hummus to share and I did the Thai Dye Wrap for my main. The Wrap came with "spicy" tofu, thai basil, avocado, carrot, daikon radish, cilantro, and snap pea. I didn't think the tofu was spicy and the daikon radish was the largest breakthrough flavor, which was something different and interesting. The wrap itself (same as the slices for the hummus) was great and seemed likely to be made fresh in house. Overall it was very light and refreshing.

Yummy vegan whole food - Edit
They had great whole food plant based options through out menu. The food was fresh and delicious. I had the green curry thai soup of the day and it was delish. I had one of the vegan bowls and my hubby had the veggie salad both delish and freshly made.

Awesome find - Edit
Was in Charlotte for the day and found this place on the app, decided to give it a go and really glad I did. I had the chopped vegetable salad with tofu and it was delicious. Tofu was grilled and flavorful, and the ginger miso dressing was by far the tastiest salad dressing I’ve ever had anywhere. I plan to go back for that stuff alone! My friend had the chicken quesadillas and said they were good too. Staff was really friendly. Everything on the menu clearly labeled vegan, veggie, and gluten free. You order at the counter and choose your own table, staff brings food to you. Plenty of seating indoors as well as outside with umbrellas for shade. Be aware that parking is on the street and metered. I didn’t see a private parking lot for the restaurant. Only complaint is that it’s a little pricey given the portion size but that seems to be the norm now. Go for the delicious food and ambience, and great location near other attractions (coffee shop, stores, etc).

So much flavor - Edit
I did a walk-in to-go order and it couldn’t have been easier. The guy at the register was super helpful and patient with this newbie. I got what he recommended and couldn’t have been more pleased. The Mother Earth bowl was so incredibly flavorful and had all the veggies I love. Highly recommend. The avocado hummus was also delicious. My only complaint was that the “pita” was basically just cut up tortillas. Still good, but definitely not pita. Either way, this place is worth your time.

👍🏻👍🏻 Chocolate Pudding - Edit
I’ve only ordered to-go. The menu is clearly marked, which I always appreciate. It’s real food, not processed, made up of actual plants. Everything I’ve had tastes good. I just feel like the value for the money is off. It’s a good option when you want to eat actual vegetables. They cook and flavor them well.

Yummy food and great atmosphere. - Edit
My husband and I ate there last night and it was wonderful. Such a neat spot and we loved the food. We both got bowls - can’t remember which one. I’m gluten free and vegan so I appreciate that they have a selection of good food I can choose from.

Cool, but not worth the hype. - Edit
This is a super cute and insta-worthy place, which I think is part of the draw of it. Food is quite expensive. I paid $14 for a veggie bowl with tofu ( that had a hair in it). If your going for Instagram, then go, but if you want really good food, you should go somewhere else!
