Unfortunately my timings didn't work out as I wanted to go to Flora for lunch, as some of the options looked really interesting. I could only get there for breakfast though, too early in the day for all the ingredients for the specials to be available. The breakfast bagel was really flavourful, though the bagel itself was a bit too dry and the pesto overpowered the cashew cream "cheese" so maybe a little less basil would be good. Overall it's a lovely place with very friendly and welcoming staff and an inventive menu. If I'd had more time, I would have gone back.

My partner and I visited Flora at least 6 times during our stay in Tamarindo. We weren’t disappointed with any of the food we got! Everything was delicious, portions were great, and the vibe was excellent. Wendy was so kind and inviting and provided the best service! 10/10 would recommend whether you’re vegan or not.

The food here is amazing. We came back almost every day we were in Tamarindo. Try the tacos, buffalo cauliflower, French toast, Mac N Cheese and breakfast burrito. All so good.

We’ve eaten here twice today and will be going back again tomorrow. Sooooo good. We had the Buffalo Cauliflower Tacos (5 out 5), Portobello sandwich, Breakfast wrap, and the new special sandwich (vegan provolone was amazing). Everything was fresh and tasted incredible. Lovely staff as well.

Stopped here for a quick brunch and had a great experience. The woman at the counter was genuinely kind and even let us park in front of the shop for a few hours while we explored after eating, which was really appreciated.

I’ve been staying at the hotel next to this place and have eaten every meal at Flora for the past three days. Every item on the menu tastes amazing. I’ve been vegan for 12 years, and it’s very hard to find places like this.

Great vegan restaurant with lots of delicious options. We discovered it our first night in Tamarindo and ended up going back.

We just went for coffee, we asked for latte we were not asked if hot or cold and we got served cold coffee. We ordered a Cheesecake that took 10 minutes to arrive and was frozen and did not taste amazing and it is $11. Not worth your money. Also for a business to call themselves a “Cafe” having two lousy dessert options, not really a good Cafe. The chair I sat down in was full of dust. The waitress did not speak much english nor spanish, this place needs to make improvements or it might not survive the competition around, which is unfortunate because I want to support local vegan places.

I was super happy to see a vegan place within walking distance. Had the chorizo sandwich which is actually a Beyond Italian Sausage, the veggies and bread was very fresh. Also tried the mac n cheez, it was decent. Service was excellent.

We are staying in Tamarindo for a week and have eaten at Flora Vegan Cafe twice. The food is excellent. The salads are fresh. The bowls are delicious. The Chori Pan was delicious as well. We also enjoyed their smoothies. The staff is friendly. It is located right across from the ocean, so easy access from the main road.
