Sorry, no. - Edit
Overpriced and sadly rather tasteless salads. This kind of place can be so good, but here it is a baby-sized plate of oily salad. I appreciate St Andrews rates must be high, but this fine-dining version of the wholefood restaurants of old is very poor value.

Healthy, whole food plant based food - Edit
A small cafe with whole food, plant based options. No unhealthy fake vegan meats.

Excellent lunch - Edit
I had the takeaway lunchbox and a cinnamon pastry. All the salads in the lunchbox were delicious and varied. Really good portion size, worth the £9. The pastry was excellent too!

Great wee place with locally sourced foods and vegan options - Edit
Loved their ethos and the coffee and vegan cinnamon swirl were fabulous.
Read moreI was too early to try the lunch items such as salads as these weren't available at 1130. I'd have gone back but it's so small I doubted I'd get a table as a solo customer and several tables were occupied by students using laptops who werent for moving so I felt a bit of pressure to eat up and go as queues forming.
Pros: The ethos and atmosphere and decor all lovely, Great coffee and several vegan options for cakes, Lunch menu looks good and healthy wholefood based
Cons: Very small and limited spaces, Use by students with laptops not keen to move on

Five Acres had a short menu of salads, one stew, and one toastie sandwich. Everything was vegetarian and some were vegan. A good lunch.

Super salads in St Andrews - Edit
The food options here change daily, as much of the produce comes from the owners' farm. I always go for a selection of the salads: they are super tasty with well combined ingredients.
Read moreAll food is vegetarian, with vegan options and things that contain dairy clearly marked.
Pros: Great ingredients in tasty combinations, Only fully vegetarian cafe in St Andrews, Lovely building
Cons: It's popular and a small space!
