Amazing store!

I do all my shopping here. Fantastic selection of items, they really focus on local/small business goods and a lot of things are vegan! From the deli, my favourite things are the garlic lover's pasta salad in the salad bar and the tofu caesar salad! The variety of grocery products and to-go food items is amazing for vegans, and the bulk goods section is fantastic, I'm proud to be an owner here.

Pros: Vegan deli + bakery items!, Items from local vendors, Bulk goods!!

Cons: Meat and cheese

plenty vegan options. giant redwood trees outside.

when i was young in my twenties i paid ten bucks to become Life member of Co-op at South Corvallis location on SE 3rd St. plenty vegan options. giant redwood trees outside.
they'd confirm to any/ALL co-ops anywhere to honor the co-op agreement to honor one another's co-op memberships for co-op discounts anywhere in USA at least.

Pros: South Corvallis location SE 3rd St. giant redwood , can feed Local students at the Local University

Cons: meat dept. booze.

The Co-Op is THE BEST ❤️🌱

I just moved to Corvallis two months and ago and have quickly fallen in love with the co-op! They have so many eco friendly, vegan, and unique items here. I can always find specialty items here that I wouldn't be able to find anywhere else. I just love the vibe at the co-op and the staff is always so friendly! Make sure to keep an eye on their sales, otherwise items can be a bit pricey.

Great Co-op

there's a breakfast hot bar; inlcuding oatmeal, scones and muffins, and breakfast burritos. small hot soup section and lunch/dinner hot bar that's diffeferent every day. big grab and go section with many vegan options. the deli makes great sandwiches on the spot (when you can get fresh falafel, it's totally worth any drive!) and on tuesdays fresh sushi is made. they have local 6 tags on the shelf that indicates if you're buying something within the 6 surrounding counties and farmer direct produce-which is all organic. second tuesday of the month owners get 10% off purchases, and it only costs $70 for a lifetime membership. the co-op does not sell any slave chocolate or cocoa products. the bulk section is large, featuring frozen fruits & veggies & kombucha on tap. for a vegan, it's one stop shopping. although they have yet to carry a vegan chocolate chip cookie, the yum yam bars that come out of the bakery, and the orange frosted vanilla cupcakes are to die for.

Pros: all organic produce, deli is killer, huge bulk section

Cons: sells meat, $$$, small beer selection

Great Co-Op

When you come to a new town, it's easy to assume that their co-op could not possibly live up to the one back home. First Alternative has surpassed all expectations. First Alternative has terrific fruit. The hot food bar consistently has vegan entrees. It's a great place to go when you're too tired to cook and don't feel like being at a restaurant.

Pros: staff, freshness, hot food bar

Cons: opens late
