Modestly good - Edit
"Fennel" isn't actually a restaurant, but rather a little eatery inside a health food shop. Because of COVID many items mentioned / photographed by other Happy Cow users are (temporarily) unavailable. When I was disappointed at this, the lady at the desk suggested I'd visit the neighbouring "Fresh" restaurant. I did, but it was jam packed so I returned to Fennel.
Read moreAnd I'm glad I did. Although the food selection is limited and isn't presented is the best possible way, the taste is great! The kale salad makes kale more appetizing. The chickpeas are in a sauce that just makes you want to eat more. As a side order I had freshly pressed fruit juice, which was also of very good quality.
Because of this excellent quality I returned when I was in the neighbourhood (ROM museum, many universities) for fresh juice and smoothies. All excellent!
In fact, the only thing wrong with Fennel is it modesty. I'm glad that "Fresh" was full and I returned to Fennel, because it deserves much more than its modest appearance suggests.
Pros: tasty!, fair prices (discount for students)
Cons: limited seating

Incredibly Tasty! - Edit
I have to say eating at Fennel feels like a luxury to me. I am never unhappy with what I eat when I purchase any food from there. It is incredibly tasty and I can feel at peace knowing I am investing in my health and wellness when I choose to spend my money there. I feel strongly that the food is made with Love as well. If anyone is interested in eating something healthy, tasty and vegan check Fennel out. They offer a wide variety of items; from wraps, to juices, smoothies, samosas, muffins and a buffet where you can pick what want. I highly recommend people try it if you are interested in eating healthier.

Amazing! - Edit
Honestly one of the best Vegan eats in Toronto. So simple and modest, yet delicious. Their quality is top notch and they are always so consistent. Lots of yummy dishes to choose from that are all Gluten Free and Vegan!!!!!! Note: this is a buffet so you pay for your food by weight. I'm typically not a buffet person at all, but I would eat at Fennel Organic every day if I lived in Toronto.
