Cheap & fast - Edit
If I’m in the mood for noodles or rice near FCU, this is a convenient option. The menu clearly indicates which items are vegan (全素) or ovo (蛋素). It’s not necessarily the healthiest option available, but when I’m short on time and don’t feel like picking out individual items from a cafeteria, it’s great! Place your order at the kitchen outside and pay before you sit down.
Read moreFor noodle dishes, you pick a flavor and noodle type. If you are confronted with analysis paralysis, go with one of the recommended combinations, which are indicated with a black star. I enjoyed the wonton noodle soup with Hakkan wide noodles today. Grab a set of reusable chopsticks and soup spoon just inside the entrance and to your left. Some condiments are also available there, like pickled mustard and chili oil.
The bowls they use for hot soup are ceramic, not melamine. Cash only.

Personally I like their sesame noodles, the sauce is thick and nice. Waiting time can be longer when there is a crowd, but is worth the wait.
