Cozy place with limited seating. Owner is a young Tibetan who set up this small eatery with the intention to make clean, good, and affordable vegetarian food for all Tibetans. Menu is only written in Tibetan and Chinese and does not contain pictures; staff speak some English. Address in Chinese is 北京中路措美林9号. Open Mon-Sun 9:00am-10:00pm.

Simple yet delicious - Edit
This is a very simple place, but I liked it a lot!
The menu has no English, and one employee spoke minimal English, but I ordered some dumplings, and they were really good. So good that I went back a 2nd time and ordered them again.
It's inexpensive, cozy, and very friendly. I'd definitely go here again, if I'm back in the city.
Pros: No meat, Friendly
Cons: No pictures or English on menu

Simple but delicious food - Edit
Restaurant has only 5 tables so is a small place. However it is nicely decorated and is a cozy place to dine in. Their claypot Tibetan noodles is a must try and their butter tea is by far one of the best that I have had in Lhasa. However, if you are on a tight budget, you can have soup noodles or just rice with toufu for below 10Y. The place is pretty near to Ramoche Monastery and also walking distance to Jokhang Monastery. So you can have a good vegetarian meal in between visiting the two monastery built in the 7th century.
Pros: Cheap, Delicious food
Cons: Limited Seating Capacity, Small menu
