Fine dining - Edit
This place was definitely fine dining with several nice little unexpected additions to our order. Also not pretentious. The 3 item tasting menu was plenty of food. I had emailed them in advance requesting vegan food. They provided a small vegan menu and though there was enough for us, it includes a dish with honey and one with beeswax, both definitely not vegan.
Read moreThe cesar salad was the best I have ever had, the risotto and garlic noodles (without the honey) were also good. I chose the lionmane mushroom and it was so meat-like I had to ask twice that it wasnt really meat! I didnt enjoy it as much because of that but others might love it.

Not So Fancy - Edit
Went for my birthday several months ago. It started out awesome. They greeted us with mulled wine and gave me a birthday card! The server was attentive at first, but then it went downhill from there. Considering this is supposed to be elevated food, the presentation was sloppy and the flavor combinations were strange. I have eaten at many elevated vegan/veg/carnivore restaurants and this fell flat. The pasta dish we got was so spicy you couldn’t even taste anything. The dishes were bland and it didn’t seem like they used quality ingredients. Then we had a different server and they could tell we weren’t happy. We just wanted to get out of there. $300 dollars later. People seem to love the steak there, but obviously not for the folks who are here on Happy Cow.

Great food and drinks - Edit
We ordered the vegan plate with an appetizer and cocktails. Everything was excellent. Pricey for sure, but the elevated experience and Qualis of everything made it worth it. We sat at the bar which made it even more fun getting to see the care and sophistication of the cocktails made. Highly recommend for a special occasion.

Hit or Miss - Edit
Our first visit was last fall and it was so lovely. We had some really inventive veganized options and most everything was delicious. Our most recent visit, we really had to force ourselves through too many of the dishes. After we got through one dish, they informed us that they couldn’t create one of the other dishes we ordered, so they just brought out the same dish we just had in a different sauce. We could have ordered items a la carte and not had it again but weren’t given that option. Unfortunately, one of the worst meals we have had and not inexpensive either. We were excited to visit again, but we won’t be rushing to return.

AMAZING FANCY VEGAN MEAL - Edit
Might be the best fancy meal I have ever had! They had 6 vegan meal options (you choose 3 per person!) and vegan dessert. There was vegan palette cleansers, complimentary drinks, etc. I can not recommend enough for a nice night out! The menu is always changing and supposed to be a surprise, but I did post a picture— avert your eyes if you want to keep the mystery!!
