Great food! - Edit
Amazing to find a fully vegan restaurant in the middle of the dessert! The space is a bit clinical and shared with other restaurants, but the food was wonderful.

Amazing vegan oasis in the middle of the Atacama desert - Edit
We ate here 3 times during our stay (2 times take away). In total we ate 5 different main dishes, all of them were plenty in size and very tasty.
Read moreThe service was very friendly fast and helpful.
The only slightly negative thing is, that it is a little bit chilly in winter in the restaurant itself. Takeout and eat in the sun could be an alternative, but then you will miss the vibe and nice music (every time out of our 3 visits total different music genre, and we enjoyed all of them)
My favorite dishes were: unidad, seitan mongoiano, seitan estrella!
Info: they have a totally separated kitchen from the omnivore restaurant (vegan right and omnivore restaurant left side)

Pros: Portion size and price, Atmosphere (also with shared neighbor Restaurant)
Cons: Little bit chilly in the restaurant

Grandes pociones, mucha variedad y buenos sabores y atención - Edit

Massive portions!!! - Edit
I came here nearly every day during my stay in San Pedro. The empanadas (and the portions in general) are HUGE so in the end we had to take the dessert that we had already ordered (delicious vegan crepes!!) as a takeaway. Relatively cheap for Atacama. Service just a little slow and unfortunately without a terrace but so worth going!! Ps. As somebody earlier had doubts: the kitchen is clearly separated from the non-vegan restaurant in the same place.

Good portions but not the best sandwiches - Edit
We had the tofu sandwich and the seitan sandwich, both had way too much cheese on, and the fries were a bit oily and soggy. The seitan was good, and had a chewy, pork texture. Decent value for money and might go back to try the empanadas, but I wouldn’t recommend the sandwiches.

Decent food, massive portions - Edit
We had the seitan estrella which was fantastic, and the lentil patties which were a bit bland but the altiplanic potatoes and salad they came with were great. Both meals were so big we couldn’t get close to finishing them. The fresh juices were ok. The vibe was nice.

3 times amazing, 1 time very disappointing - Edit
We have been here 4 times in total - 3 of those times were amazing! Especially the Seitan Estrella and the Tofu Ceviche, which are some of the best vegan dishes we have ever had. And the juices were also very good!
Read moreTonight was our 4th time here and we ordered these 2 favorite meals. Unfortunately, we were so disappointed..
Apparently there are 2 sisters cooking on different days of the week and we coincidentally always visited when one of the sisters was there. Tonight the other sister was cooking and the quality difference was huge. We almost couldn't believe we were eating at the same place. Everything was different - the juice and smoothie were watery and both our dishes almost had no flavour. The Ceviche was very watery as well and the Seitan missed the great flavourful sauce and the fries tasted like they were old.
I gave 4 stars because our overall experience was good. But I would give the first sister 5 stars & the second sister 1 star.

Vegan Chilean in the Desert - Edit
Amazing to find a “fully” vegan restaurant in San Pedro de Atacama. I put fully in quotes because they seat you on one half of the restaurant for vegan and the other side serves meat. We really enjoyed Altaplanica main dish

Large Rare Steak on the Next Table - Edit
Shares one side of a quite open space in a building with an omni restaurant on the other side of an aisle I had eaten and was hoping for dessert. I enjoyed my experience-until one person on a table of two next to me (between me and the wall) was served a large, rare steak. I smelt it, and had to get up and leave immediately. I got up so quickly that I forgot my sunglasses and had to go back about 15mins later. That was when I saw the couple requesting their bill at their table and realised the 2nd person at the table didn't even eat (let alone vegan).
Read moreReally disappointing experience. The guy who ordered the steak couldve been asked to go to the other restaurant when he ordered. I did hear the waiter explaining the setup when they walked through the door. I just didn't hear the guy order, or I would have respectfully asked for them to now sit in the vegan restaurant.
Very weird and thoroughly disappointing. I couldn't eat there for the next 4 days of my San Pedro stay. I chose to eat at Roots. It was Omni, but at least didn't pretend to be vegan and could eat in the outdoor Court yard where the smell isn't trapped.
Cons: Rare steak served., Not offered dessert while waiting for quite awhile

Lol imagine dragging the only vegan business in San Pedro for something they can't really control, and advocate/patronize for a business that kills animals. Vegans really do themselves a disservice sometimes.

If you are at an omni restaurant you aren't shocked to smell meat next to you in a confined space. Stumped as to why a restaurant is not able to ask a non patron to seat in the correct restaurant. If you've been there you would know they are distinct, and that a collaborative existence would surely mean the other restaurant would say "over here". Pretty sure a restaurant wouldn't allow someone to sit down with their own sandwiches. Or walk into a restaurant with a Macdonalds lunch.
Read moreI'm surprised that you don't think restaurants trying hard to provide for a narrow market deserve no kudos. But hey, some people just have very narrow minds.

Small place but wide variety on the menu. I liked the tofu babaganoush bowl and my husband's lentil burger was fantastic. The only downside was the live music was so loud we couldn't talk to each other across the table.

Only negative aspect is that it's not obvious that the cheese can be ordered non-vegan or vegan.
