I was excited to go back to this cafe, I went for the first time in 2019 and really liked it. Unfortunately this visit wasn’t great. They were extremely busy - not their fault - but the staff were clearly overwhelmed. They weren’t very friendly, but I’m sure that’s because they were rushed off their feet. Two service staff for a really busy cafe with lots of tables isn’t enough.

I ordered an item which didn’t mention on the menu that it has mushrooms in it, and I can’t eat mushrooms. The food overall was pretty average, not as good as it was a few years ago. My main also came 25 minutes after my partner’s, which isn’t ideal if you’re going for lunch together.
Overall we didn’t feel very welcomed, in stark contrast to other highly rated Barcelona vegan places, I would recommend skipping Equilibrium and heading for the other top happy cow spots instead.

Read moreYesterday I had their house burger which was beyond my expectations.. loved that they toast the bun. This morning I went there as soon as they opened for breakfast.. I had their full English breakfast with a Latte oat milk. I have 2 days left and want to go back to try their other items on their menu, as well as get a desert. Well worth the visit ..oh, and the staff is extremely friendly.

I tried the English breakfast in this very nice café in Barcelona. It was very good even if not very big. I also ate their grilled cheese sandwich which was also very satisfying. The drinks are good (try the lemon ginger tea, it's excellent) and the setting is very nice. The staff is helpful and friendly. I would gladly come back.

Fantastic, we came back for breakfast 3 times in our 1 week stay in Barcelona. Coffee and breakfast for under 10€, really tasty and varied options. Lovely vibe and the cafe was always busy.

Wonderful vegan place open for breakfast and lunch. It looks beautiful and the people working there are chilled and friendly.
Read moreWe tried the full English breakfast, which includes a home-made hash brown, scrambled tofu, sausage, bacon, mushrooms and beans, and a kale, mushroom and cream cheese omelette - made with tofu and particularly fluffy.
Burger and fries were also great when we came back for lunch were also great.
If you are in Barcelona, I can’t recommend this place enough!

I stopped here for lunch on a day out, having read other reviews. The service was fast and the prices were good. Contrary to apparently everyone else who has reviewed it, I wasn't blown away by the food or the place but it was pretty nice and very central.

If heaven is a place on earth, then it’s in Eqvilibrivm Cafe’s tofu omelette ! I have never tasted a vegan omelette so good !! And the serving was copious ! So much flavor, so good! And the carrot cake was so moist and fluffy ! I am drooling just thinking about it! You absolutely must go eat here!
