NO vegan options except coffee

Bread is not vegan, so I couldn't even get your basic avo toast. Very disappointed.

Best coffee purveyor

Their coffee beans are my favorite and their drinks are absolutely delicious. They have a lovely outdoor patio; fun to watch cyclists stop in. There’s a cute bicycle map inside.

I would love if they expand their vegan pastry selection beyond one gf muffin, and they don’t carry the delicious vegan blt available at other Equators. At least there’s a bagel place next door that offers a vegan cream cheese option to offset the lack of food options.

Good coffee, weird vibe

It's a small place with uncomfortable seats that just screams "take out!" The coffee is good but I've never had a good experience here. It's not easy to park nearby and there's no where cozy to sit. The coffee is good, but so is the cup I make at home. Staff are high schoolers who don't seem to actually like or drink coffee, because no one I've asked here has any recommendations.

Pros: Good coffee

Cons: Weird vibe, No bathroom, Hard to park

Vegan Beverages

Very much enjoyed an oat milk hot chocolate, along with a vegan muffin. For drinks, a vegan isn’t limited—everything can be done with plant milk (for an extra charge). For food, the vegan selection is quite small, but luckily the only vegan muffin today was really quite good! I would pick it again even with a bigger choice. (There was also a vegan and gf granola bar). I’ve read on their site that they sometimes have vegan donuts as well. The staff was very friendly, and the space is nice.

Equator Coffees

I was in Marin County yesterday for some hiking and was happy to see a nearby Equator, because I needed some matcha for energy. I ordered an oat milk match latte (which is made with the best oat milk on this planet, Oatly). It was a really nice drink, but I should have asked for it unsweetened because it tasted like a dessert. I suspect their matcha powder is sweetened...so keep this in mind if you are sensitive to sugar.
