An art cafe turned all-vegan in mid-2022. Offers all-day breakfasts such as toasts, yoghurt, overnight oats, and croissants. For lunch, serves different salads, soup of the day, and toasts with different toppings such as vegan pepperoni and cheese, feta and tomato. Dogs friendly. Also has art exhibitions, live gigs and other cultural events which change monthly. Open Wed-Fri 09:30-16:00, Sat 09:30-15:00, Sun 11:00-14:00.

Fully vegan cafe. Very nice, relaxed and laid back atmosphere. Serves lunch which was a salad (14,50€) and had 3 topping options (tofu skewers, Vöner or vegan cheese). I had it with vöner and that was beautifully presented and tasty. Lunch includes coffee or tea.

The staff was very friendly, even though they had a lot to do. I had a toast and a cinnamon bun, which I was lucky enough to get fresh out of the oven. Both were really good.

I went there for lunch and didn’t get disappointed. I had the tofu skewers with salad and they were absolutely delicious. Also, there was a free coffee included afterwards, which I did not expect and therefore was extremeley happy about. Loved the place!

Encanto Art Café in Helsinki is a charmingly offbeat spot that blends creativity with conscious dining. I visited for lunch on a sunny afternoon, a welcome shift after a spell of rain, and took a seat outside with a colleague. Despite the lunchtime peak, the brief wait was entirely reasonable and well worth it.

The tofu skewers were grilled to perfection - nicely seasoned and satisfying - and the dressing, dotted with black sesame seeds, brought a subtle depth to the dish. It left me comfortably full without being heavy.
With the meal came a complimentary coffee, which I enjoyed alongside a pulla (purchased separately) taken to go. Their pulla never disappoints - soft, delicately spiced, and consistently excellent. It’s one of those rare items that could easily justify a journey across town.
Encanto offers a warm (in the human sense) and unmistakably personal environment. Its artistic flair and independent spirit make it a refreshing alternative to the more formulaic chain cafés around Helsinki. The overall experience balances nourishing food with an atmosphere that feels both welcoming and expressive.

We stopped for a quick lunch and enjoyed the calm, very local ambiance. The waitress (owner) was very friendly and we were soon talking to some local regulars, which is what I love to do when traveling. Coffee was good and our small lunch was tasty and filling.
