Best Meal Experience of My Life - Edit
I treated myself to a birthday dinner at Eleven Madison Park last night. The meal was unbelievable. The service was incredible. The ambience was breathtaking. I got to the restaurant a little early, as they were opening, and they invited me to sit at the bar till my table was ready. I sat down, and the bartender greeted me and said “oh by the way, I hear you have a birthday, happy birthday.” I didn’t even tell him my name. The hostess taking me to my table wished me a happy birthday. The section manager walked over to my table and wished me a happy birthday. All of the food runners who came to my table wished me a happy birthday. That’s incredible service. But it gets better. As I get to the dessert part of my eight course meal, the guest manager comes over and introduces herself and wishes me happy birthday. She said we have a gift for you if you’d like, would you like to tour the kitchen. I was like absolutely. So I got a tour of the kitchen, which was spectacular. While I was back there, the chef made me a special drink, which was amazing. When I came back, they had another special dessert of chocolate pretzel, the smoothest cocktail I have ever had, and a gift of granola to take with me. It was truly hands-down one of the best restaurant experiences of my life.

The meal of a lifetime - Edit
We came for the 25th anniversary tasting menu and made reservations for the bar tasting (5 course) a couple weeks beforehand online. I recommend making reservations several weeks before hand if you are trying to book a group. I don’t think I could have eaten any more so the bar tasting was a good option for us.
Read moreThe service here is stellar. Even though I came right from work and was dressed down, the atmosphere was very comfortable. Before we started they asked about allergies and food preferences. When I said I didn’t like sweets they offered to swap out my dessert for a savory dish. 💯💯💯💯
The food was amazing. This was the most expensive and also best meal of my life. The carrot tartare was good, but I didn’t really like the self assembly aspect of it. I’d rather leave that to the chef. The almond ricotta tortellini (with truffle) was incredible, but the seitan steak was absolutely the highlight of the evening. I hope they offer this again someday. 🥰
Pros: The food and service are tops

Amazing! - Edit
What an experience, I have been here about 6 years ago before they were plant based and they did create a vegan menu for us which was incredible, but this last visit was just amazing! The staff are just so friendly and always attentive. The whole meal was just sensational and there is nothing we didn't like! The bread and butter is sooo good, we asked for more! It is expensive but they do not disappoint in terms of the food and ambience. They send you home with granola! we told them it was our wedding anniversary and they made a point of congratulating us!

We have died and gone to heaven. The service, the atmosphere, the food is impossible to describe. Three and a half hours of an epicurean ballet. The pictures do not do justice to the experience.

The best - Edit
I am elated that Eleven decided to go vegan. I have had the eight course meal multiple times and each dish was delightful. The menu changes seasonally. Each dish is specially curated and the service is exceptional. The menu changes every season and I absolutely love the cronut/croissant.

Top Restaurant in the world and it’s Vegan - Edit
Beautiful interior design every last detail is thought of. Staff are super friendly, knowledgeable and try to make this a one of a kind experience
Read moreFood is sublime but no surprises there as the Chef is a Michelin 3 star maestro. The dishes must have taken so long to conceive, they are unique and delicious.
A trip to the kitchen to see the Chefs in action is a must.
It’s a tasting menu that is highly experiential. A 6 course tasting menu takes over 2 hours.
Pricey but this is pure artistry.
Pros: Beyond any Vegan dining I have ever experienced , Layered flavors that are unique , The staff are great
Cons: 2 tomato dishes served together was overload

Unfortunately profits proceeded their long winded principles and the restaurant is no longer Vegan. What a sellout and you had to believe all those long speeches given airtime in many of the world’s leading media about sustainability and Vegan principles were just Instagram moments 😏

Second visit even better than first - Edit
This is the most exquisite dining experience. To be able to eat delicious vegan cuisine in one of the world’s best restaurants is such a joy. The menu is insanely creative. The food beyond delicious. The service is truly some of the best and most attentive in the world. This is food theater and art. A feast for the senses. Worth every penny. Save your $ and make a reservation - we thought it would be a once in a lifetime meal but loved it so much we are going annually.

Amazing experience! - Edit
I took my husband here for our wedding anniversary and it was definitely worth it. We did the bar tasting menu, but was seated at a table. The bar tasting menu was more than enough food with 6 courses! Everything was so delicious and flavorful. They gave us free a champagne toast and dessert for our celebration. They even took us back into the kitchen to give us a little tour. It was so cool! We had the best time.

Impressive Experience - Edit
Ever since I heard about this place going vegan, I've been dreaming of a visit, and I'm so glad I finally made it. It was a really impressive experience. The service was at a level I've never experienced before, and the dishes were so creative and flavoursome, with a bit of theatre at times as well. Ultimately, it was worth the price, and there are a few of the dishes that I will never forget because they were just sublime.

NYC Vegan Experience - Edit
We had plans to visit NYC and my main request was dinner at Eleven Madison Park.
Read moreThe food was everything I wanted it to be! So delicious and creative in taste and presentation. We decided on the wine pairing that turned out to be an excellent decision. Each glass complimented the flavors in the dishes beautifully.
The unfortunate part is that we had a negative experience with the service at the start, which I explained to one of the managers when we were leaving.
Sadly, I expected more from the experience; however, I am happy I had the opportunity to dine here.
Pros: Delicious food , Fantastic wines
Cons: The wait…

Very impressive from start to finish - Edit
Went here for my birthday to celebrate and the experience was amazing. We were treated like VIPs from the moment we walked in. The presentations were creative and we'll thought out. Each dish was complex, flavorful, and beautifully assembled. I'd only been to a few 1 Michelin star restaurants and the difference between 1 and 3 is tremendous. The granola parting gift was thoughtful and since it was my birthday they gave me a delicious chocolate bar with a personalized HBD card inserted. Thank you for making it a memorable meal and evening!

Our experience here was incredible, like no other we've ever had. Everything we were served was delicious and flavorful with umami galore. I thought it'd be mostly tweezer food but it turned out to be a substantial meal. Service was simply outstanding throughout the evening. We were lucky to be seated at a corner table, which gave us a full view of the restaurant. It was a delight to people-watch and to observe the staff operation from our vantage point. The place was full, every table was taken, but the flow of service was just so slick and smooth that it didn't at any point feel hectic or confused. Worth the splurge if you can afford it!

Sublime - Edit
Others have raved about the food and service. Our experiences were identical. This is not an evening out to eat some food. This is a culinary experience which is to be savored as one is pampered by a perfectly choreographed serving staff.
Read moreIs it expensive? Of course it is. This is something many people would never be able to afford. Without any alcohol, it was a $1,000 evening (this included a 20% tip). It was worth every penny. The food, the staff, the ambience----food as theater!!!
DO NOT FEIGN ANY IGNORANCE WHEN YOU RESERVE, SPECIFICALLY ONLINE. YOU WILL BE CHARGED IN FULL (EXCLUDING TIP). THEIR CANCELLATION POLICY IS VERY CLEAR-----THERE ARE NO REFUNDS, NO MATTER WHAT YOUR SITUATION (E.G., ILLNESS, MISSED FLIGHT, ETC.).

The dinner here was amazing and the dishes so unusual and creative that they defy description. The service is outstanding and the servers are very helpful and friendly. The wine pairing was great - the servers know everything you could want to know about the wines and the beers. Even though the menu only changes seasonally, I would go back every week if I could afford it.

No standard to compare against - Edit
Jerry Garcia once said " Don't be the best at what you do, be the only one" - I really can't compare the experience of eating at EMP with any other vegan restaurant. For me, it is an epic experience filled with pleasurable experience overload and romance. My advice is, if you have the considerable amount of cash needed to dine at EMP or the motivation to save up, it is a unique experience that every vegan foodie should try once (or more!).

"Not a clue how you can get so much flavor out of cucumber, but you can." - you can quote me on this one.
Read moreYou just have to experience it for yourself, but please please please get the wine pairing - it seems not to be the habit in the States as it is in Europe, but wine pairing should speak for itself as a default go to. The pairings were very on point (if you are over 30, do foresee a bit of a hangover the next day).
Hats off to the staff for the excellent service, recommendations and lovely conversations.
(ps: that granola you get at the end is also next level, seriously it's granola - genius)

Alta cocina vegana - Edit
