Thanksgiving - Edit
Our family was so over the top excited to visit Eleven Madison for Thanksgiving. Alas, the meal underwhelmed on every level. The leak soup was perfectly bland, the cranberry sauce my kids agreed was no where near as interesting they make with lemongrass each year, the main dish was an uninspiring disc of sweet potato with a limp spinach leaf and for dessert a flavorless hard tart and a tiny scoop of cinnamon ice-cream that tasted of watery coconut.
Read moreThe service felt like we were watching a Disney ride with every of the many staff circling the gorgeous massive flowers continuously.
Worst of all after what would be the fact that all the tiny precious portions did not add up to a filling meal and as we walked the high line later that night laughing about it all we were hungry.

Pros: The flowers were gorgeous

Unfortunately Overhyped - Edit
The dining experience at Eleven Madison was ultimately a rollercoaster of highs and lows. The service is the peak, with staff members anticipating patrons’ needs and attending to the finest of details. The food however, was seemingly not as intentional. There was an incessant tug of war between captivating and unimpressive dishes. Also, the pacing between courses was tedious—amounting to four hours—and the progression lacked a cohesive culinary narrative.

Incredible Experience, but Miss the All-Vegan Days 🥲 - Edit
I tried this back in 2022 when they were fully vegan, and wow — what an experience! Every dish was stunning and absolutely delicious, truly one of the most memorable dining experiences I’ve ever had.

Exploits animals. Need to take body parts and secretions off the menu again and go back to just serving food.

Lucky to try this before they add animals to the menu - Edit
Luckily our New York trip was booked before they add meat back to the menu. They do have beverages including wines that are not vegan friendly so be careful with the drinks, but the staff are super knowledgeable. It was a one of a kind experience. The food and presentation was wonderful.

What a special experience. - Edit
9 courses and not a bad one amongst them. So grateful to finally try this wonderful gem of a restaurant. I have food allergies and they very kindly ensured I could eat everything (having to make several alterations). Pure artistry.

This is our second time at Eleven Madison Park and they this time they topped the last, which was the best dining experience we’d ever had in our lives until this latest visit.

Unforgettable meal - Edit
I’ve been to a number of vegan fine dining restaurants around the States, but this was the most outstanding food and experience of them all! I took 2 non-veg friends who went in skeptical, but came out saying it was one of the best meals of their lives! For once I didn’t take photos because it’s so fancy, but everything was beyond delicious and looked like art. We thought the staff was excellent and incredibly well organized in their flow. We even got to go to the kitchen, meet the executive chef, and have a special bite in there. Fantastic and cannot recommend this place any more highly. You won’t regret the splurge.

Didn’t love - Edit
I love the fact that they have gone vegan, but having been previously in my (and their) non-vegan days, the old menu was unfortunately better. Some of the flavors and textures were a bit strange for me and I was left feeling unsatisfied. It was a very impressive dining experience, with detailed descriptions of each course and several courses of desserts.

Underwhelmed. One & Done. - Edit
Underwhelmed with the overall experience. Exquisite service details matter at this level & they just were not there.
Read moreThe key interest in going was to experience the plant based menu at a Michelin star level. Loved the seasonal farm to table concept. The food was tasty & the presentation appealing, with the first dish, a creamy mushroom velouté & warm laminated croissant like rolls being the real favorites. There was no ambiance, no charm. It felt corporate. Too loud, annoying music, couldnt really hear what the dishes were-they give you a printed menu at the end, which would have been helpful at the beginning. We expected a warm welcome, but did not get one. We had a reservation & prepaid as required over $500 , were early, but unlike other places, we did not experience being made to feel like this was going to be amazing. Fell far short. Service was perfunctory, though there are plenty of staff, it should have been part of the experience & it was, but not in a good way. Unfortunate. We want to support plant based businesses & the food was decent, but for the price & Michelin star expectations-overall, it fell flat. One & done here.

Perfection! - Edit
For as acclaimed as the food is, and deservedly so - it was excellent, when really stood out was the amazing, gracious, welcoming service. From the moment we walked in the door, we were treated in a friendly, relaxed way. We did the full tasting menu with wine pairings, which was presented in an unhurried, perfectly timed manner. Not only was everyone we interacted with knowledgeable about each dish and wine, but also the history of the building and philosophy and evolution of Eleven Madison Park. We especially appreciated our lead server Garrett who happily answered our many questions and gave us an idea of what it is like to be a part of the team that is the incomparable Eleven Madison Park.

Wow - Edit
Having eaten at The French Laundry back in the day I kinda knew what to expect but this surpassed my expectations and the fact that it’s plant based is so amazing. This was my daughter’s graduation dinner with her brother and uncle and we were all made to feel very cared for at 11 Madison. The food was both delicious and interesting and I can honestly say I slept way better than I did after my meals at The French Laundry.

A truly unforgettable experience. - Edit
This was my second time celebrating my husband's birthdays here, and once again, everything was exceptional. We absolutely loved the spring menu — each dish was thoughtful, vibrant, and beautifully presented. Julia took such great care of us, Marc curated the perfect wine pairings, and Chloé gave us an incredible behind-the-scenes look into the kitchen. Meeting Chef Humm was the highlight — truly priceless. The food, the experience, and the level of hospitality were nothing short of extraordinary. It's the kind of evening that shifts how you see food and service. I hope everyone gets to experience this at least once — it's truly life-changing.

30min wait for reservation, food was very mid - Edit
unacceptably long wait for reservation. only good if you want to have all your food presented in the most insufferable way possible. things just always subtlety bad. like a chocolate covered pretzel with zero salt and no crunch. whole thing seemed like it was trying to be fancy instead of taste good. zero beans, tofu, chickpeas, rice or most other staples anywhere. waste of money.

Eleven Madison … more like Eleven Stars 😍 - Edit
Ok, this is an expensive experience but that is exactly what is it.. an EXPERIENCE. We did the full tasting menu and it was out of this world good. We were there for 4 hours and left absolutely stuffed ! I thought i would leave hungry as i had the impression dine dining meant hardly any food, but wow was i wrong, we had plenty! Some of the tastiest and most creative food we have had, presentation was amazing and the staff were all super friendly. We got invited into kitchen at the end! What an experience !!

Elegant dinning and service - Edit
This is definitely the fanciest elevated dinning experience we’ve ever had. This would probably be the first time i could say confidently that it was well worth the price. From the moment you’re greeted they take your jackets and bags promptly. The seating is so spacious. Everything came out with perfect timing and there was a significant amount of food with the 7 course tasting menu. There was someone tending to the table almost constantly with the revolving set of wait staff. 10/10 would recommend and will be back.

[6⭐️] Absurd, and…worth it - Edit
I’ve never eaten at any Michelin-starred restaurant before, let alone one with three. The service is immaculate (shoutout to Nick the somme and Harry/Oswaldo the servers). The experience is so finely tuned. The food is unlike anything I’ve tried, can’t really describe it but to say it was all incredibly unique and delicious. And the portions were actually a bit bigger than I expected—still small of course, but we certainly didn’t leave hungry. Impressed. Will revisit someday

Eleven Madison Park redefines plant-based fine dining. Each dish is a masterpiece, blending innovation with seasonal ingredients to create bold, memorable flavors.
