We had a very good Dinner at this place.
Read moreThe staff was very kind and friendly!
I had the Pinã Té and it was very delicious. We also had Tacos, Quesadillas, empanadas and Tamales.
The Empanadas were my favourite. Very crispy and creamy! Thank you for this beautiful Place!

Amazing Lentil Burger - Edit
I ordered the lentil burger that had beets, oats and carrots on a sour dough bun. It hid the spot.

Leave out thone honey for 5-stars! - Edit
Delicious food, as a big fan of Tahini, I loved the combinations! They make their own honey and it’s present in many desserts. Honey is so easy to replace (agave, maple), so why not giving the bees a break and introduce an alternative sweetener?

Nice place, had a few issues - Edit
Nice vegan place, the food was good, but I wished for simpler options.
Read moreThe open door allowed flies to annoy us for most of the meal, and the inside was pretty warm still.
Several of the desserts have honey on them, making it not as easy to have a sweet tooth as a vegan.
Pros: Nice ambiance, Good food
Cons: Honey was in many foods

Pretty good vegan options - Edit
Stopped by for lunch on a Monday and it wasn’t too crowded. I liked the Elela sandwich but it was more just two pieces of toast with toppings rather than a sandwich (but the bread was great). My partner had some pancakes with fruit, and the staff was nice enough to make it even though breakfast hours had just ended. Also had a yummy brownie.
Read moreThere is no AC and it is a somewhat small space, but there are fans around which helps. There were quite a few flies though. Overall, a pretty decent experience but it didn’t wow me, and it’s a bit of a shame that so much of the menu has honey in it (for some items you can ask to exclude it, like the pancakes).

Pros: Friendly staff, A good variety of options

Cosy little spot - Edit
Nice cosy spot. Friendly and helpful waiters/waitresses. Speak English too
Read moreso it can be easier for some. Had tacos on both visits. Good portions and a very good salad too. The only minor thing for me was that the sesame flavour in the halva latte was fainter than expected, double the flavour I feel would make it perfect

Healthy and wholesome - Edit
Everything tasted delicious except one of the dishes was over salted. The ingredients all felt really good quality, healthy and imaginative food. Downside is that they use a lot of honey - it’s in almost all of their desserts, which is a shame.

Amazing food - Edit
The food was delicious, healthy and filling and if what they're claiming is true then this is a big WOW. They say they produce most of the food themselves in the area. Awesome! Absolutely tasty, I can only recommend it.

Wonderful cafe - Edit
Friendly cafe with good Wi-Fi. We went for breakfast. As we like soy milk in our coffee, we were skeptical of the 'sesame milk ' here. So, we got Macchiatos instead which were excellent.
Read moreWe both wanted to order the pancakes, but opted for one pancake order and one fruit bowl. (Each 96 pesos). The pancakes were DELICIOUS, and the fruit bowl (which came with granola) was also very good. The fruit bowl was served with a yummy sweet sesame sauce. The pancakes also came with fruit.
Thanks to the earlier review, we were aware that honey was included in most dishes. We were OK with that, but some will not be.
Due to the good Wi-Fi, it seemed that a lot of people just came in to hang out (without purchasing or just buying one item for 5 people) which is annoying. Especially since the cafe is quite small with limited seating.
Great location across from San Bernardino Convent.
UPDATE: We came back for breakfast the next day. We again got the pancakes and this time the oatmeal bowl. The oatmeal was a GIANT portion, but I missed the tasty sweet tahini sauce served with the fruit bowl. If you are hungry, definitely get the oatmeal bowl, though.

Incredible atmosphere, service and the food is delectable. I have the unfortunate challenge of needing to be gluten free. They had options and they were damn good.

Everything about this place is 11 out of 10 stars. The service, the vibe, the food, the location. Beautiful attractions surrounding, but the food. This was everybody’s favourite meal on our entire trip. We will be going back on our way to Cancun from Mérida.

Not a ‘vegan cafe’ - Edit
Deceptively calling themselves a “Vegan Cafe” and having a blackboard with “100% Vegan” within the cafe itself, this cafe barely has any truly vegan options, due to honey being added to many items. It’s also not a misunderstanding issue because the menu clearly labels allergens as numbers on the menu including honey written as “honey (not vegan).” Problem is, some of these menu items are not properly labeled (see the salad). I had to find out from another happy cow review that the sweet tahini sauce used in a variety of menu items has honey mixed into it- it was not labeled anywhere on the menu, but confirmed by an employee. Would completely avoid if vegan. It’s not worth the stress of accidentally choosing something - the vegan options are sparse and the advertising is deceptive.

Tasty and fresh food - Edit
This place is super cute, and the waiter was very engaged and knowledgeable, he immediately recommended stuff. The food was cooked in the small kitchen right at the back of the counter, and it was all super fresh, tasty and with a very homemade feel to it. The horchata was very nice, and so was the food. It's a small menu, but it was still difficult to choose.

I had the pancakes, fruit bowl and coffee with sesame seed milk and LOVED every minute of it. I went back the next day but was bummed to find they’re closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays! (But glad their staff gets a rest!) Everyone was so kind and welcoming - don’t miss this spot if you’re in Valladolid! #Veganuary
