Tortas good in a pinch - Edit
Today I tried both vegan torta options at the Shephard location- Cuban with plaintains and black beans, and the veg torta with avocado and mushrooms.
Read moreThey were ok, fresh with decent ingredients but lacking flavour and spices, definitely didn’t satisfy a Mexican food craving even with extra sauce on them.
It’s great that they have a few options, and in a pinch I would go back and maybe try something else making sure I got some better sauces.
Pros: Tortas (sandwiches), tacos, and burritos , Quick
Cons: Pretty basic, lacking flavour
