Amazing food - Edit
As a couple new to the vegan lifestyle we have been trying many different vegan restaurants and the food here was spectacular. The only thing reducing the rating from a 5 down to a 4 is the staff - don't really smile or care as other reviewers have mentioned. 5 stars for food 3 for staff. Must haves - grilled vegetables wrapped in zucchini and the Aztec taco

Amazing local dishes - Edit
First off the plane wanted to try the local cuisine vegan style, so found this absolutely lovely little gem near our hotel.
Read moreThe Santo Sour and Palta Sour were very refreshing and tasty, the handcrafted empanadites beautifully executed and smoked ceviche really tasty!
Also had the medicinal cacao which the waitress said would be very strong but truly was exactly what I needed after 24 hours of travelling.. and the orange and cacao cold brew was very tasty as well!
Came back for more amazing food, (Flame Grilled Cevipalta - so so so amazing!!) and omg even their beer is peak quality! Kind of want to move to Peru just so I could eat here more often 😅

Great food - random availability - Edit
We went here twice and enjoyed the vegetarian take on Peruvian food, however both times much of the menu was unavailable and we were limited in what we could order. Really enjoyed what we had but would have liked to try some of the other items.

Peruvian Food at Its Best! - Edit
Walking distance from our hotel and oh what a find! Gluten free, naturally sourced food we had been on the look out for. The sopa de quinoa was brilliant on so many levels - flavor, texture and presentation - most of all, nourishing.

Tasty but expensive - Edit
I tried one dish and although it was very tasty, the portion was very small for the price. It took a long time to prepare which I didn't mind and they apologised several times for it.

Amazing food experience - Edit
I had the stuffed artichoke hearts and was impressed by the flavors and consistencies of the dish! My friend had the mango ceviche which was really tasty as well. Portions are rather small and its kind of pricy. But would still come back!

They gave me an English menu, the items were really interesting and it took me a while to decide what to order. The dish I had was delicious! The servers could speak English and were super-friendly!

increíble!!!! - Edit
Probably our favorite meal in all of Peru, although it is hard to say for sure bc we ate amazing food here. The menu is incredible and it’s really hard to choose. We loved the empanadas, ceviche, and causa that we got. We also saved room for desert and got the picarones. Everything was delicious I wish we could have returned. Definitely a must when visiting Lima!!

Dieses Restaurant ist eine großartige Möglichkeit, um peruanische Spezialitäten zu probieren, wenn man sich vegan ernährt. Ich kann das Pachamarca sehr empfehlen!

Just wow. - Edit
Amazing food and great staff. Drinks were super refreshing- basil lemonade and avocado lemonade. Then we had the Asparagus Tartar appetizer followed by the Goddess Bowl salad and the Planta Burger and everything was absolutely delicious. We will go again on our way back through Lima - the cassava flour pizzas need advance notice. Looking forward to our next visit!

I loved finding this cozy spot in the middle of the city! Even with all the traffic and noise outside, El Jardín de Jazmín feels calm and welcoming. The vegan dishes are delicious and creative, with amazing Peruvian flavors made from fresh herbs, fruits, and veggies. Definitely worth a visit!

It was OK, a bit pricy - Edit
Having read the previous reviews we had high expectations, we ordered the top two items on the menu with a picos sour as an aperitif.
Read moreThe picos sour without egg whites was really nice, I had the mushroom and potato meal and the sauce on the mushrooms, which came on as skewer was really nice, but the portion size was small. My wife had a marine concoction in a bowl, which was not very nice.
Pros: Purely vegan, Extensive menu
Cons: Didn’t live up to the expectations , A bit pricy, Small portions

Es la primera reseña que hago y lo amerita porque la causa con palta y champiñones que probé en este lugar es de las cosas más deliciosas que recuerdo haber probado en mi vida. El lugar es muy lindo, chill, música agradable, y una buena carta. Recomiendo!

El jardín de Jazmín was a lovely find. We ordered the ancestral burger. The accompanying cabbage salad was very flavorful, also the different fried potatoes were delicious. Definetly recommend coming to this cosy hidden gem.

Aunque sólo me fui a Lima una semana, este restaurante valió tanto la pena que fui dos veces a cenar ahí. La comida es rica y te ofrece la experiencia peruana sin servirte carne 5/5
