Didn't seem to serve food

We turned up well within opening hours but they didn't seem to be serving any food. Asked for a menu, didn't receive one. There were some other people around but they weren't eating. We left as we had no idea what was going on.

Good food

I went here for lunch in October 2022. Currently the meal of the day is 17,000 pesos. After about 3:00 in the afternoon they serve food from an a la carte menu, generally vegetarian fast food. The day I went, the meal included a glass of juice, a bowl of soup, and the main plate with mashed potatoes, a patty made of black beans, and a salad. They have the option of adding coffee and a muffin for an additional 3,000 pesos if you want. The building itself is interesting as it's over 100 years old and was once a private home. It's also just around the corner from the Egyptian Palace (Palacio Egipcio), and if you arrange a tour there, you could combine it with lunch here and see both places. The service here was very friendly. They were quick to answer messages on Facebook.

Delicious vegetarian food with a great mission!

El Arrebato is a fantastic option for vegetarians and for anyone looking to take a break from bandeja paisa in Medellin. Plus, it's a great way to support local social justice and community work, as well as small-scale farmers in the region! Delivery available in these pandemic times.
